Little getaway

We had a wonderful little getaway for spring break. We loved the house, the easy stroll to the beach with 2 young kids and walking up to the main town area. Folly Beach was a gem and we can’t wait to come back.

Excellent Location!

This was the perfect property for our family vacation. We loved the town of Folly Beach! It has a little bit of everything. The house itself was comfortable and clean. It has a lovely backyard and is on a quiet, well-lit street. It is also an easy drive to Charleston for sightseeing. We would stay here again!

Perfect location

Wonderful home

The location was perfect, less than a 10 minute walk from the beach and the main strip of town. The home has everything you need and more, everyone in our group commented on how wonderful the home was. It was perfect for our girls 40th bday trip!

Perfect for families

We stayed at this house for two weeks for the second year in a row. We find the balance of the location, convenience and family friendly amenities to be perfect. Its main living/dining room, and the glassed-in porch are wonderful spots to hang out with 5-7 people and play games or watch TV. Easy access to beach and walk to Center St.

Family in Folly

We love the cleanliness, the size and the bed settings in this wonderful home. The enclosed porch on the back was where we lived a lot. We loved it so much. We have already booked two weeks next summer.

Great place!

It is a wonderful place! Plenty of space with everything you need to have a fantastic time. The house is far enough away from the main streets so you do not hear all the noise, but is close enough to walk to anything Folly Beach has to offer!

Wonderful place for family getaway

Great stay!

We really enjoyed the property! Would stay again for sure. Short walk to the beach and close to downtown. Quick drive to Charleston as well. Bring bug spray if you visit in the summer. The kitchen was also limited on tupperware/storage items.

Great house by Folly Beach

This house is great! Perfect location, nice and private but close to beach. Couple of maintenance items need attention but i still think it's worthy of 5 stars. Sink drains (left master and kitchen) need to be unclogged, toilet seat in master bath is stained and needs to be replaced. Very minor things, all in all a great place to stay.

Second Time Staying :)

We are Charleston locals (born/ raised) and have stayed in this house twice now - once in 2020 and again this year (2024). The renovations after 2020 really made a huge difference in the house, especially the master bedroom. While the location isn't beachfront, you can definitely hear the waves on a clear and calm night, which we enjoyed from the balcony. We were close to Center Street (where most of the bars/ restaurants are), but also cooked at home using the grill. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay both times and wish we could book again, but they are increasing the price to >5k$/ week (WAY out of our budget...)! We deducted a star because of this, but also because after we checked in we noticed the floors were not very clean - the bottoms of our feet were turning black and eventually we ended up giving the place a good mop ourselves!

November getaway

Home was well maintained and clean. Bedding and towels were in new condition, not dingy or threadbare. Plenty of plates, glasses, mugs and tableware. Location was a five minute walk to the beach or Center St. nice quiet location. Beautiful house. Would rent again.

Watson’s Folly Island vaca

We loved the sun room off the kitchen. This became the family “gathering” place. Loved the spacious bedrooms and dining table that fit the whole family. Loved the quick responsiveness when we had to reach out to vacasa. Loved the non commercialized folly beach. We hope to return! Bryan and Dee
