It’s all about the location at this sweet three-bedroom ranch home, only one-third mile from the beach, and the walk to get you there down Center St. is filled with restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and stores.

Whimsically decorated inside and offering lots of space outside, you’ll find the perfect launching pad for your next Folly Beach vacation. Have a seat on the outdoor couch in your front yard for your morning coffee. Pop the umbrella open and relax in the shade while you decide how to spend the day. Inside, the chef can get breakfast started in the cute kitchen, with salmon-pink cabinets and butcher block countertops. At mealtime, the dining room table seats six, or pull up a barstool for a casual bite.

Walk to the beach for the day or explore a bit further afield. Historic downtown Charleston is only eleven miles away. When you return in the evening, grab a board game for more family together time. Watch a little TV on the overstuffed aquamarine sectional in the living room before bed, and drift off to sleep with a perfect Lowcountry day behind you and another to come tomorrow.

Family getaway

We stopped at Goodwill to buy more coffee cups and wine glasses. All other kitchen supplies were plentiful. We’re glad the spices were not cleaned out. Thanks!The location was close to town attractions and the beach.

Spring break on Folly

Nothing fancy, but we wanted it for its location and it was perfect! Easy walk to everything down town and the beach!

Awful experience

We arrived at our booking to find a dog in the house and to learn that the owners were living the house and it was not available (and according to them had not been for months). Had to call the secondary party Vacasa and wait for them to figure out eventually a refund and had to book our own other place. Very stressful especially after traveling all day with kids. Have never had this happen but super poor communication and overall frustrating way to start your vacation.

Spacious with a great location!

We rented this house to stay at while attending a wedding in Folly Beach, and it did not disappoint. It was spacious, had everything we needed, and was in a great location. The guest service team was on top of things making sure we had all the information that we needed. Would definitely recommend !

Highly recommend!

This house has plenty of room, with 3 different living spaces. Bedrooms are great size. Walking distance to everything! We Will definitely stay here again! Folly Beach is amazing!

Perfect getaway

We loved this house! It has so much room, beds are comfortable and bedrooms are a great size. It is such a short walk to the beach and lots of great restaurants. Highly recommend, hope to be back soon!!

Beach House

Great home, needs furniture and small appliance updating and the outside needed cleaning and set up. Exterior did not live up to the pictures. Great location easy to walk everywhere on Folly beach and easy drive to downtown.

A friend's vacation to remember.

We recently stayed here over memorial day weekend and had an amazing weekend. We love Folly Beach and will be back. The house was great overall, but there were a few things that need attention. The water heater mainly needs to be looked at. The water pressure in the shower was very low and the water was lukewarm. The grill was dirty and there was no propane. So, this might have just been overlooked. Also, there is no dishwasher so a drying rack would have been helpful. Other than these minor things, we loved the house and had a great time. I would recommend this house to others!

Lovely house with one warning

We loved our stay and the house was beautiful and clean. 1 warning - after they clean the house, it takes 24 hours for the fridge to get cold, so you will not have a working fridge for the first day of your stay.

Great Place to Stay

This rental was perfect for mine and my husband's little getaway. Everything was great but if you are bringing the whole family be prepared to wash dishes as there is no dishwasher. The hot water didn't get as hot as i would have liked but not a deal breaker for rebooking in the future for us.

Restful stay

We have been going to Folly for years now, and this house was a great representation of a Folly house. No pomp and circumstance, just a homey place with comfortable beds and everything you need to be at home. It’s right behind the Lost Dog, so perfect to walk across the greenery area right up to the place. There are easily doable steps up to the house like 3 of them and then the house is all one level, so great for anyone that cannot do stairs. I will say the hot water could have been made a little warmer, our 5 year old was cold when he took his baths. Otherwise everything else was great! I would suggest putting a smart tv in the sitting room that has the tv in it. It had the most basic of the channels on the tv so we had to back up and punt and use the iPad or sit in the same room together to watch tv and relax. Not a big deal though it was just three of us. We didn’t sit on the back patio due to mosquitos making a meal out of us but that was ok, we sat on the beach more than anything.

Perfect, Spacious Stay

The picutres do not do this house justice. It was incredibly spacious and while I was worried with 8 people and only 2 bathrooms, everyone had their own space and were incredibly happy. This house had everything that you could want from a quieter beach stay including house games and comfortable couches and beds. It was also within such an easy walking distance to the beach itself that it was so easy and a perfect vacation locale.

Perfect work/rest vacation.

My wife and I frequently visit Folly Beach, and this was by far our favorite place we've stayed! We look forward to returning, and ideally staying here again!

Diamond in the Rough

While the outside of this home is a little worn, the inside was quite a surprise. All photographs were exact. Rooms were spacious although no closet in the twin bedroom. Kitchen was adequate. Lots of space to stretch out. Heat and air worked nicely. Close to walk to shops and restaurants. Nice little church next door. Rented a golf cart to go to the beach and around the island. Thanks for a nice weekend.

Great short stay.

This house was perfect and everything we needed. With two small kids the walk to the beach was just a bit far, but an easy drive for sure. The only issue we had was the fact that there are no ceiling fans in the "master bedroom" or the room with the twin beds. Would be nice to have some floor fans to offer up to make the nights a little more comfortable.

Nice layout and great location but needs a little TLC

The house has good space for 3-6 people and sofas for 2 more. There are 3 separate indoor hangout spaces. The TVs and other electronics worked well. It is easy to walk to the shops and restaurants and the beach is a very doable walk with a minimal level of fitness. The house needs some TLC though. Water leaked through the attic into the Master Bedroom during a storm. The light doesn’t work in the master closet. The toaster was missing the main shelf. The outdoor furniture was dirty. Several windows have cracks in them. The blinds are hard to open and close. The landlord agency did offer to come out and take a look while we were there. Hopefully, most of these will get addressed before the next tenant arrives as there are a lot of positives with the place.

Wonderful!

Home was very clean and easy to find. Lots of great restaurants near by. Everything we needed for our stay was included. Great communication between owners and us. We even got a discount at certain restaurants for mentioning where we stayed and who sent us there. Would definitely stay again. Loved it!
