Seaside Getaway on Folly ~ 1 Block to the Beach!
Welcome to the Seaside Getaway, a 3bd/2ba home located only a block from the beach and 3 blocks from Center St., putting you in the center of it all on Folly Beach! You'll enter to an open living area flanked by the master bedroom with full ensuite bathroom on one side, and two additional bedrooms sharing a bathroom on the other. There is a large screened-in outdoor patio and a great backyard for the kids to play. So come enjoy living the laid back lifestyle on Folly, the "Edge of America"!

- Open living area with large sectional sleeper sofa and Smart TV
- Dining table with seating for six
- Fully stocked kitchen with additional bar stool seating for three
- Master bedroom with king bed and full ensuite bathroom with stand up shower
- Second bedroom with king bed and Smart TV
- Third bedroom with two full beds (can sleep 4) and Smart TV
- Second full bathroom with shower/tub combo
- Laundry room with washer/dryer
- Furnished, screened-in outdoor patio
Guests have access to the entire home, yard, and driveway for parking
The home is managed locally by Southern Charmed Hospitality Group so someone is always available should any issues or concerns arise during your stay.
The closest beach to downtown Charleston, Folly is a mecca for surfers, fishermen and all lovers of the laid-back beach lifestyle. Visitors flock to Folly Beach for the same things its residents enjoy. You’ll find excellent pier and surf fishing, an enticing variety of restaurants and bars, live music, and some of the best surfing on the east coast.
Home is located:
- 1 block to the 3rd St. West public access beach
- 2 blocks to the Wave Watch Playground
- 3 blocks to Center St., where all of the restaurants/bars/nightlife are on Folly
- 1/2 mile to Bert's Market, a local 24 hour market and convenient store
- 1 mile to Folly Beach County Park
- 25 minute drive to downtown Charleston
The home is walking distance to both the beach and Center St. so a vehicle is not needed once you are on Folly.
There are bike and golf cart rentals on Folly Beach for those that would like to explore the island a little further.
There is a driveway with parking for multiple vehicles.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.
Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb's insurance or other options are recommended.
INSECTS
As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who live in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
A $500 damage deposit is automatically billed upon arrival. It will be refunded to your card after checkout if there are no claims made for damages.
HOUSE RULES
- Please respect the neighbors and observe outdoor quiet hours between 10pm-8am. There is a NoiseAware device installed at the home that will alert us if the decibel levels get too high.
- No smoking
- No unapproved pets
- No unapproved guests
