GRooVI-Villa Newly Remodeled in the ♥️ of Red Hook

GRooVI-Villa is a great hub for any ferry-centric vacation. Make it a St. John day and catch the ferry just steps away. Walk ability is amazing - no need to rent a car! Newly remodeled, turn-key 1 bedroom 1 bath condo located just up the hill from Moe's Fresh Market. Red Hook is a very popular & hip spot. Sky’s the limit to what you can do! Grocery, Ferry, Marina, Excursions, Restaurants, Bars and Shops are all just steps away. Power out-no worries! Complex wide generator will auto power up!
The space
The condo is completely turnkey. This is our home away from home and we hope you will find everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. Items provided for your use are:

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook meals including:

* Automatic ice maker w/filtered water
* Spices & other pay it forward items such as coffee, cooking oils etc.

There are two TV’s in the condo. Both TV’s in the bedroom & living room have a Roku to sign into Amazon, Netflix etc. The TV in the living room also has a cable box with 100 high definition cable channels. A DVD player with a large collection of DVD’s is also available . Both TV’s have an HDMI cable plugged in to easily connect additional devices such as laptops etc.

GRooVI-Villa is all about good vibes and tunes. On that note, you will find an acoustic guitar, set of bongos and a wall mounted blue-tooth device friendly speaker to get GrooVI with. We are music enthusiasts and love to support our local musicians and friends on island.

The condo is part of a freestanding condominium complex that houses 15 units in total. It's a small gated community, with gates on either side of the building that require a key to access the building. The condominium structure has three floors of condo units (5 per floor) and a partially enclosed carport area underneath the building for parking cars. Our condo is an end unit on the first floor, just above the parking area, closest to the Marina. There is also a parking gate located at the end of Moe's parking lot that closes in the evening and reopens in the mornings for additional security.
Guest access
Three days prior to your stay Airbnb will provide you with security codes needed to access the condo at your convenience as well as reserved parking information for one vehicle. You will have private access to the entire condo and not share it with anyone.

Many parts of the island have steep narrow roads and driving is done of the left side of the road. The parking spot for the condo is very snug and on an island incline as well. Just be mindful of your surroundings when parking and have a spotter the first few times until you are used to it. My husband and I rented an over-sized truck during the remodel and were able to utilize the parking spot.

There is a parking gate that closes in the evening and opens in the morning for your added security and safety. You will be provided with the code to come and go as you please. Red Hook can be very busy sometimes at night and parking can be hard to find, luckily you will have your own reserved parking spot.

Laundry is conveniently located outside the front door. Our HOA just purchased two brand new coin-op stack-able washer and dryers. They only take quarters that you can get from two of the banks close by; Banco Popular or First Bank. Both are of course, within walking distance.
Other things to note
The condo is located close by to bars with live music and nightclubs that can be very energetic at times.

The exterior of the building is undergoing minor reconstruction.
