Exceeded our expectations, highly recommend booking this VRBO you will not be disappointed. The owners outdid themselves with all the details and amenities, very impressed. I’d say the only downfall of the stay was we wanted to stay in the house more than be out!

Great place, great location

Charming home, even nicer than the pictures show. It was clean, spacious, organized, filled with every amenity. Michael was extremely responsive, both before and during our stay. We hope to stay here again!

Michael was such an incredible host. From the second we walked into the property, we felt like it was a home away from home. The check-in process was seamless, and the kitchen and bathrooms were fully-stocked with anything we could need for our stay. Everything was clean and tidy and the decor was cozy and welcoming. We had an exceptional time and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent property!

We loved this house! Top of the line everything! Fully stocked-coffee, tea, creamer, etc. Beds were wonderful. Walkable to so many fun things to do! Only bad thing was that we could only stay one night. We will definitely come back to this house

Beautiful, well-appointed home in a fantastic location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful and sparkling clean. Beds were comfy, as was the living room furniture. We enjoyed the covered front porch even in the rain (rare for Santa Barbara!). The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with coffee and tea and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Top notch in every way

One of the best rental experiences I have ever had, and I have rented a lot of houses - half a dozen this year alone. Beautifully appointed home, great walkable location, super responsive owner. Absolutely perfect for our girls getaway. We felt completely pampered - more like a luxury hotel than a typical rental. Totally can’t wait to go back!

Perfect place to stay!

We went to celebrate my birthday, 3 couples. The house was convenient to everything- shops, restaurants, beach. The house itself was immaculate and plenty of space for 6 adults. The communication with our host was excellent, he made everything very easy. If we make it back to Santa Barbara we will definitely stay here again.

Great location and beautifully furnished!

I’ve been to Santa Barbara several times and stayed in many VRBOs. This property was the best furnished of all! Four Seasons quality bedding, towels, and appliances. One block to State St makes it an easy walk to all the restaurants and attractions. We could not have been more pleased!

Fabulous Location in Santa Barbara

I was in for a wedding with and couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Close to everything but on a quiet block this bungalow is beautifully appointed and clean. Michael was so accommodating and helpful. I couldn’t ask for more . It made my weekends for sure. Can’t wait to be back !!

Culinary Enthusiasts & Gamers Dream House.

Viking fridge, dishwasher, oven, All-Clad everything, etc... Amazing historic retreat. Too many amenities to list so I'll just say... wow! Step out the door and fall into restaurants, clubs and very cool shops and a stones throw to an upscale mall. Kudos!

Best property in Santa Barbara

There are so many “best” things about this home. Michael and Kelly are great hosts and very responsive. Loved the gas grill and side patio. The front porch is great for morning coffee and we spent a lot of time out there. House is completely renovated with a great kitchen. You won’t be disappointed on every aspect. Easily walk to many restaurants and shops.

Family wine tasting

This house was perfect for us. It was close to restaurants, shops and the beach as well as serving as a staging area for several wine tasting trips. The house is beautifully appointed impeccably cared for and extremely clean. Michael has provided everything that you will need for your trip whether it be in the kitchen with Viking appliances or the technology embedded throughout the house. I highly recommend this home for your vacation.

Located in Santa Barbara’s Landmark District, just steps from State Street, The Funk Zone , West beach and Sterns Wharf sits this Folk Victorian Home. This home Recently renovated in 2019 is part of the Brinkerhoff District . The Brinkerhoff District is a quaint neighborhood representing a period of significance to Santa Barbara’s history. This neighbored has collection of well preserved homes built between 1886 and 1913 in styles including Queen Anne, Italianate, Stick, Craftsman, Folk Victorian, and Colonial Revival. The homes are reflective of neighborhoods of the late 19th and early 20th century.
This 1906 Folk Victorian was but for the Rees family as a personal residence and would later be home to a series of different businesses over the years including a tailor, seamstress, answering service, insurance agency, Architect and most recently the Durbin Learning just to name a few. We purchased the home in early 2017 with the goal in mind to refurbish the home and take it back to its former glory days.
