Our first ocean view

It was wonderful sitting on the balcony having a cocktail in the evening . Hearing the ocean crashing in on the beach. It was a differant experience having a service person clean the place each day.We turned that down and just had our towels replaced. We found the bed adequate . The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. It was a small place , but was perfect for two of us.It was a enjoyable experience, with a pool for days when the surf was up. My only wish is that balcony door worked better. I'm a strong person, and found it very difficult to open and close. We have been staying at Beachers Lodge for nearly 30 years and we always have a great time there.

We enjoyed the local area and highly recommend Safe Harbour Seafood Restaurant. The bedroom ac unit did not seem to cool well and there is no ceiling fan so next time we will bring a portable fan. It is a wonderful unit overall and we will definitely book this one again!
