Cosy house in the countryside

Ready for a time-out on an island? Then you will experience pure relaxation in our house: situated in the countryside, you will wake up in the morning by the crowing of the cock or the murmur of the small river that flows below the house – and you are yet well-placed in the heart of the island close to the capital Fort-de-France, the airport or the sea within a few minutes by car.
The house is airy and offers a magnificent view. The kitchen and living room are open, a cosy dining area is the perfect place to enjoy local fruit and the small reading corner invites you to linger. The kitchen has plenty of storage facilities, a fridge with freezer and a gas hob. Here you can prepare your favourite dishes as you please. Afterwards, enjoy them at the dining table we built ourselves. In general, we have furnished the house with a lot of love and have built most of the furniture ourselves - maybe not always perfect but definitely with heart and soul and originality.
The bedroom has a double bed and - very important close to nature - a mosquito net. Thus, you can dream undisturbed. And the second bedroom offers room for two more people thanks to a bunk bed.
The bathroom - with direct access to the terrace - is equipped with a shower and we are more than proud of our laboriously built washstand.
Enjoy your breakfast on the spacious terrace with a view into the greenery, watch the birds or admire the fruits growing on the trees. The garden behind the house is a real oasis for garden lovers. The house is quietly situated in a cul-de-sac near St. Joseph. Although a bus station is only a 10 minute walk away, we still recommend to hire a car. From here you can reach all the hotspots of the island in just a few minutes: 15 minutes far away from the airport, the capital Fort-de-France or from one of the countless beaches, 30 minutes from the quiet north of the island or the touristic south. The house is centrally located and yet away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for your stay in the countryside!
