Fantastic
A great trip is not only due to the place you visit, but essentially to where you stay and the people you meet.
Our stay at Cagliari was made all the more fantastic by this flat and it's owner Alberto.
The flat is spacious, with AC, WiFi, two bathrooms... it's in a residential part of town so it's quiet and safe at night. It's also close to the main market, so shopping for groceries is just a 5 minute walk away !
Several buses pass by so going to in and out of the town center is easy. If like us you are motorized, parking is easy: there is space everywhere... you just have to come to terms with when to pay and how much... But Alberto will explain very clearly how it all works. There is a little café and a chemist just 50 m away, and a couple of mini supermarkets 100m farther away.
Alberto is a very friendly and helpful host. He is always at hand to help and give advice on good restaurants, beaches, places to shop and places to visit. He'll take time to explain how to get to places, and will even look up the best routes for farther destinations.
Our stay was too short, but we will return both to Cagliari and to Alberto's flat without hesitating.
