Disappointing

There were workers in unit replacing lightbulbs etc. so unit wasn’t ready. Check in was hurried and we were left with worker who didn’t speak English to call us a taxi. No taxi came, had to call office. There were no kitchen towels or dishcloth! A cut rate motel has better kitchen ware. The door had a deadbolt which had to be locked with the key from INSIDE also! It was a flimsy door and lock. Didn’t feel secure or safe at all. There is no on-site management. All in all this place isn’t worth what they charge. It had a shabby feel.

Endroit très tranquille

Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité des lieux. Un peu loin des plages car la marche peu être un peu dangereuse mais, nous avons bien aimé.

nice property on a dusty road

Property is exactly as described. Nice little pool with a bbq included. The management company is great. The bbq gas was empty and they replaced it same day after we notified them. Quiet, clean, and enjoyable.

Close to the best beaches you’ll find in Costa Rica!

We loved our stay at La Carolynna. The condo was close to the best beaches around such as flamingo beach, and playa conchal. We also visited Tamarindo, playa avellenas etc. I would recommend you rent a car if you stay here. The condo complex is very safe. The internet is ok, it works perfect sometimes but we did experience the wifi go slow two to three times during our stay. The air conditioning was excellent. The water pressure was excellent and having access to the bbq and pool was a cherry on top. I would highly recommend the property, everything you need is there including beach towels. The only con was the cable TV for us English speakers. They only have two or three channels for English speakers: CNN news and the other two played repeated shows.

Comfort and Quiet in Brasilito

Overall this was a very nice condo with clean, comfortable beds and comfortable seating elsewhere in the house. Everything worked as we expected except for the remote to the gate.

We did not need any additional kitchen appliance or tool Location is perfect 5min from greatest beaches in the area as Flamingo and around 10min from Danta and Dantita Quiet, private No worries about your car at night Electric gate which provides nice security No problem at all with coordination at arrival Streets are in very good conditions as well Giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because the fridge did not close tight but it was fixed the second day They provide cleaning products

This condo had everything we were looking for at affordable prices!!

Getting the keys and being shown where the condo is, is kinda a rig a maroll but woulda been lost otherwise. Once there, the gated community gives you that extra sense of safety. Travelling with a child, the pool area was perfect for that late afternoon dip. A little small and enclosed for the adults looking for sun. We really enjoyed the bbq'ing area as we eat dinner and talked with others. On the flip side, the only downfalls were, some barking dogs in the area that barked in the middle of the night, not for long but enough to wake some light sleepers up. The condo itself (keep in mind each one is different) can opener didn't work, no sharp knifes, etc. Would have been nice to have a boogie board as well. My family and I were very satisfied with this condo and got to meet some great ppl with tips about the local shops, farmers markets and special places to visit.

Very peaceful spot

I spent one week staying with my husband at La Carolina condos in May/June 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very peaceful and tranquil. The gardens, pool area and property are well cared for and clean. We really loved the common area with the bbq beside the pool- it was a great place to hang out at night and have dinner and a swim. The condo itself was really nice- nothing fancy but really clean and modern. Linens, towels and all the kitchen dishes and utensils were great- we had no need for anything else. You defintely need a car rental for staying here- the beach is a bit of a hike and the nearest grocery store is quite far. But with a car you have the flexibility to visit the areas that are close by and explore. We loved staying here- it was a convenient spot for us and we will most likely stay there again.
