Anne and Michel LEBRUN are pleased to welcome you to this cottage nestled in the Touraine countryside, in the heart of the château of the Loire Valley, which was created in one of the outbuildings of their 19th-century farmhouse.
Entirely renovated with respect for tradition, it is an ideal starting point to take full advantage of the cultural and tourist attractions of Touraine, the cradle of French Royalty for centuries.

This Independent building built with tuffeau stones for 120 sqm can accommodate five people.
It is composed of:
• A beautiful fully equipped kitchen
• A large living room with a wood stove
• A 2-person bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) with private shower room
• A 3-person bedroom with three beds (90 cm) with private shower room
• A large south-facing patio with a garden furniture
• Shared with the owner :
- A garden for 5 000 sqm
- A Petanque field
- A heated swimming pool of 8 x 4 m, in service from June to September

Located 2 km from the Loire, close to many of the most famous château of the Loire Valley: Chenonceau, Amboise, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon and many others. The region offers many cultural and sporting activities: Zoological parks, museums, cycling, hiking, canoeing, etc.
The city of Tours, 15 km away, invites you to stroll through its historic centre and dine in one of its many restaurants.

Wonderful stay at Cinq-Mars-la-Pile

The gite was a fantastic place to stay, clean, spacious & very well maintained. There's plenty of room & the pool was great. Michel & Anne were fabulous hosts. This is an ideal place to explore the Loire & particularly all the chateaux within an easy drive. Would certainly return here again.

Beautiful location and lovely, relaxing holiday.

This property was spotless and had everything we could possibly have wanted. The swimming pool area was the icing on the cake. The owners were so helpful and the perfect hosts. Fabulous.

Peaceful and Beautiful

The property and surrounding countryside are beautiful. The entire Lorie river valley is a beautiful place. Several magnificent Chateau’s within easy driving distance. Our hosts were very gracious and provided us with all that we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Gorgeous Gite

A lovely converted farm building in a very quiet area. Good range of facilities available and a fantastic pool. We had a lovely time in the surrounding area and good fun on the petanqe piste. Definitely a good choice.

Wonderful

Lovely property with perfect outdoor seating area and beautiful pool which was cleaned daily. Hosts were on hand if we needed anything but we didn't have to ask for anything. Would recommend staying at this property.

Perfect stay in the Loire countryside

Beautiful house which is a converted stable. The two bedrooms were perfect for myself, husband & 2 children (ages 4&6). The kitchen area was massive and very well appointed - we loved picking up food supplies from local market/shops, spending afternoon by pool, then having a BBQ early evening. Michel & Ann looked after us very well!

We had a wonderful week in the Loire. The gite was very clean and well equipped. There was lots of information available on local tourist attractions. The swimming pool was very welcome in the heat. Anne and Michel were excellent hosts and very friendly. A perfect relaxing holiday for either couples or families. Ideally situated for exploring the towns and chateau of the Loire.

A taste of paradise In the Loir Valley

This property is one of the most delightful we have stayed at. Micheal and Anne, are the most thoughtful and charming couple you would wish to meet. The property is secluded and ideal for a quiet holiday The facilities provided by the owners are very comprehensive and attention has been given to every detail. The swimming pool and Patio areas are the icing on the cake. The area is central to some wonderful restaurants and markets Would I stay there again? most definitely Thank you Micheal and Anne.

Great countryside cottage

The house exceeded our expectations. A lovely secluded location accessible to major roads, near the Loire river with ample supermarkets and necessities nearby. Our hosts, Michel and Anne are a lovely couple. They were very helpful with recommendations about local places to dine and chateaux to visit that were less crowded than the ones on everybody’s list to see. Their English was much better than our French! Due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived at the house just before midnight and Michele was so understanding, and it was not an issue at all. The house is clean, had a washer (No dryer, as is typical but a drying rack and ample sunshine to dry your clothes) and a very comfortable kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. A bottle of sparkling wine awaited us upon our arrival!

Idealer Ausgangspunkt um die größten Schlösser der Loire zu besuchen

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus von Anne und Michel Lebrun. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war super und der Empfang am Anreisetag sehr herzlich. Zu unserem Glück können die Gastgeber sehr gut Englisch. Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll und gut eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse liegt so wunderbar, dass man Ende Mai von morgens bis abends Sonne hat. Der große, gepflegte und beheizte Pool ist natürlich nochmal etwas ganz besonderes. Das Ferienhaus liegt abseits, aber nur wenige Autominuten von Langeais ( mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) entfernt. Es ist dort absolut ruhig, aber man ist innerhalb max. 1 - 1 1/4 Std. Autofahrt an den 10 wichtigsten Chateaus. Und wer genug Schlösser gesehen hat, kann die tolle Stadt Tours genießen oder an der Cher herrlich radfahren. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das völlig schallungedämmte 1. Stockwerk. Die Dielen knarren wirklich bei jeden Schritt und die Wände sind dünn wie Papier. Wir waren zu Zweit und da hat es uns nicht weiter gestört, aber mit mehreren Personen möchte ich es nicht erleben.Wir würden dieses Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

La vie des châteaux

En visite dans la région pour découvrir les châteaux de la Loire, nous avons passé de très agréables moments dans ce gîte. L’accueil fut chaleureux. Le gîte est aménagé avec goût et est très propre. L’équipement pour passer un bon séjour est optimal.La literie est de bonne qualité.De très nombreuses documentations permettent d’avoir les informations nécessaires pour découvrir la région.Le cadre est très calme et permet de se ressourcer. Et pour ne rien gâcher, une petite pétanque sous le soleil a conclu notre journée avec plaisir.Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu.

Een top vakantiehuis

De ontvangst was vriendelijk en aangenaam met een rondgang in de ruime woning. Alles was dik in orde, de keuken was goed voorzien van allerhande materiaal en de bedden zijn opgemaakt. Het zwembad was zalig, zelfs bij minder en nat weer was het heerlijk zwemmen. Het huis ligt op een centrale plaats voor het bezoeken van de vele kastelen in de omgeving. Hartelijk dank!

perfekte Urlaubswoche inmitten vieler Schlösser und einem super eingerichteten Ferienhaus

Das cottage war einzigartig, die Einrichtugn hatte alles und mehr was man in einem Ferienhaus benötigt. Anne und Michel Lebrun sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Ideen von Anne, welche Schlösser in direkter Umgebung man unbedingt anschauen sollte, waren super. Die Kommunikation war auf englisch und französisch problemlos möglich! Der beheizte Pool läd jeden Tag zum planschen und schwimmen ein und wird täglich gereinigt. Ein rundum perfeker Urlaub an der Loire!

Séjour calme et confortable

Séjour très agréable dans ce gite spacieux et confortable. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la terrasse et la piscine. Hôtes sympatiques et de bon conseil pour les bonnes adresses aux alentours (Balades,visites et restaurants).
