Beautiful

The house was beautiful. Clean and well decorated. Beds were comfortable. The lake was so pretty. My boys really enjoyed the diving board and fishing off the dock. I will most likely book again next summer.

Top notch!

We booked the property for the 4th of July week-4 kids and 2 adults. The house was well appointed with plenty of space and amazing views of the lake and mountains. There were plenty of towels, a well appointed kitchen and air conditioners in each of the upstairs bedrooms. Ceiling fans and open windows did a decent job of keeping the 1st floor reasonably comfortable (it was close to 90 degrees a couple of days). The sand on the beach and swimming area were a welcome change from the typical muddy and rocky bottoms typical of many other lakes. The diving board and swim out dock were a big hit with the kids, as were the pedal boat and paddle board. There were plenty of life jackets and inflatable rafts available as well. The boat traffic on the lake was minimal, and far enough away from the swimming area to not be of concern for swimmers. There was light traffic on the road in front of the house, with only an occasional motorcycle or car speeding by. There is plenty of food and necessities shopping within minutes of the house, and a handful of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend for a family vacation!

Perfect Vacation

This lake house was a perfect vacation spot for our family of 5. Lots of room for playing inside and out with a beach and boats right at the back door. The kitchen was amazing and Melissa thought of everything. A real winner!

Lake House

We had a great time at a beautiful lake house in Wilton, ME. We could not have been any closer to the water. We were able to enjoy many of the surrounding amenities the area offered from our vacation home from fishing and kayaking on Wilson Pond, hiking at Blue Mountain State Park, coffee and shopping in Farmington, and dining at Kawanhee Inn. Many thanks to our host for making us feel welcome!

Unbelievable view

The property did not disappoint, beautiful views from every room. Every thing you would need was available. I am handicap, where I need a railing on stairs , which none of the outside steps had. Steps to upstairs bedrooms are steep, we worried constantly, with the kids. The negative But all and a nice stay. The negative is the area has nothing to do within an hrs drive.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Immaculately clean and spacious home located literally lakefront with plenty of space for 6 adults. Loved that kayaks, canoe and paddle boat were all right there to use! Boys went fishing every day, weather permitting. And I used paddle boat for the first time! Owner easy and pleasant to communicate with via text and answered any questions I had. Would definitely come here again!!

Book It, Search No Further

Everything was perfect and everything you need it there, including, but not limited to, spectacular views (like being on a boat), badminton, lake toys, boats, bikes, corn hole, s'mores sticks, fire pit, puzzles and games for all ages, chefs kitchen (with everything you will need), lovely furnishings, and comfortable beds. Property Manager was very responsive and accomodating.

Great time on the lake!

We had a great time at the lake - beautiful views and lots of fun things to do right on the property. My three boys (9, 7, 4.5) loved swimming to the raft, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

Beautiful location!

Location is beautiful! House was as described. Perfect for all ages. Kids had a blast on the beach, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Owner was great to work with.

Family getaway

The owner was very pleasant to work with and a great communicator. This house had everything we needed to entertain our 3 children ages 3-5 and more! My 12 year old nephew and his 9 and 7 year old brother came to visit for a day and never wanted to leave. The lake is very clean and has minimal traffic with a perfect swimming area, dock, as well as diving board! My son loved the canoe and the kayaks were nice as well. Very clean and the kitchen was amazing. My family will definitely be looking to make this a repeat vacation spot.

Wonderful lake vacation, well equipped house

Beautiful location! The house was immaculate and the owner was very helpful. Having our own kayaks and canoe directly on the lake was wonderful and we were in and out of the water all day long. Great kitchen, strong wifi, outdoor grill. We had a great trip.

Relaxing lakeside vacation

Our family had a great vacation here. The house was gorgeous. It was clean and was just what we needed. The kitchen exceeded expectations and there was a grill outside for barbecuing. Most importantly, the lake views and access were great. There was even a small private sandy beach with kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat to use. Life jackets of all sizes were available and there were even bikes. There is also a firepit to enjoy. This house had everything to make a great vacation. While close to the road, there was plenty of parking and the yard is set down a hill so you still feel secluded from any passing traffic. There was also a great park just a walk down the road with a playground for the kids and the most amazing sunset views. (Even though you still get great views from the house since the downstairs is all windows looking out to the lake!) The owner was incredibly responsive and available for any questions and needs. The true question... Would we go back? Absolutely!

My family & I have spent 18 years of fun at this lakehouse! We have renovated it from a camp into a beautiful house. My 2 children grew up catching fish & turtles, tubing & skiing behind boats, learning to drive Personal Water Crafts, swimming & diving from the docks, paddling to the public beach & park, biking to the park, roasting marshmallows, listening to the loons calling, watching planes land & take-off and enjoying family BBQs all from this property! Multiple hiking opportunities from easy to difficult with magnificent views!

The house is located on a paved road, a short distance from US Rt. 2 and ME Rt. 4, the speed limit is 25 MPH, has a pprivate beach, a public playground/swimming hole is 1/2 mile away, another large recreational park & beach are ~1 mile walk or 0.5 mile paddle away, Mt. Blue State Park hiking trails are ~15 miles / 20 min drive or a glance out the window away ;)
