Backyard had a beautiful view. Absolutely loved the dog park being two houses down. We have two dogs that had a blast and we were able to take them multiple times a day. Owners were super nice and responsive. Five stars.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It had everything we needed. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the lake was lovely. Easy access to the 101 and the 60 make getting around the Phoenix area easy and fast. We would stay there again. Dick and Lois

Great Value for the Price!

Everything is accessible from this property. Unbelievably great price for the location and for Thanksgiving weekend! Wil is a kind and very responsive owner and even refunded the pet fee when our dog died before the trip. Super duper host. The only surprise (and reason for four stars) was that it was described as a lakefront house but it's actually a house that has been divided into two properties. As a result, there are locked and covered french doors in the dinning room and you can hear the other resident's TV and voice when you're in the living room. Most people probably won't have any issues with this but it would be more accurate to describe it as a condo or apartment. We always rent a free standing house with no shared walls rather than a condo or hotel because our Chihuahua would bark at voices. This would have been a major problem but our dog passed away before the trip so it wasn't an issue.

Great Experience!

.y family and I came to Arizona for a wedding and we had a great time! The home was very cozy and functional! We really felt at home here and will definitely look forward to using this listing in the future! This is a great area snd we weren't far from any stores or restaurants. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. There was great communication from the property manager and the directions for access to the home was very easy to follow! Thank you so much for making our first AZ visit a great experience!

House on waterfront

The house was very well kept. Everything there (except food and personal items) that you would need.for your stay. Manager on site was very nice. Owner is exceptional. We (my husband, myself and two dogs) rented this house on the lake from Oct. 20th to Oct. 28, 2023. We did have to shorten it by 1 day due to family emergency at home but our stay was exceptional. We will hopefully be going back in Feb. 2024 and hope to rent the same house or one of the other two that Wil has. Great place and people to work with.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

We were pleased to stay here. We had garage access to park our rental car safely. There was a security gated front yard and front door. The floor plan was welcoming and comfortable. It was wonderful to have living space separate from the sleeping space. There were ample linens and pillows. There was a washer and dryer, coffee pot & coffee supplies. There was a 5 gallon water dispenser, which was wonderful. We also enjoyed having a private yard to relax in. I would note that the property was advertised as having a “lake for boating and swimming access” which is a bit deceptive in my opinion. The “lake” is a large retaining pond with a flow regulating fountain at one end. Some neighbors have paddle boats or small canoes to float around with, and there was one neighbor fishing during our weekend stay. However, when I took my daughter down to the water it was discovered that it is not swimming quality. It is very murky & mossy; the edge has many big rocks/cement pieces and the depths are unknown and not visible. The communication with the property owner and manager was great. The only inconvenience is that we were only provided one remote control, which only controlled the cable-most channels of which are not available- and neither owner or manager knew where they were located and could not come help us use the tv. Turns out the remotes were stored -by the cleaning service- in a drawer on a side table with facade drawers (we didn’t find them until check out)! Thanks!

The Perfect Place

My wife and I, along with our small god, were visiting our oldest son and his family in Mesa. After a long day of playing with the grandkids, this was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We even fixed dinner for their family and also had our grandkids spend the night. It is large enough to absorb a family and the lakefront view is very relaxing. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Lake view.

Nice to have the lake view while relaxing on patio. Lots of daylight. Comfortable bed and good location for our needs. Quick response with any questions or needs. Furniture could use updating. We’d stay again.

Gorgeous sunset views from patio!

This was a cozy and comfy home and we enjoyed it alot. Everything we needed was furnished. Carpet could use a good cleaning though. Wil and Steve were great to work with.

A little home away from home.

We were renovating our house and needed an affordable nice place to stay. This place fit the bill. It was also nice being on the little lake. If you have a dog there is a great little dog parks within steps. Also, our renovations ended up taking longer than anticipated and the owners were very accommodating in helping us stay a few days longer. Thanks Will ☺!

Dobson Ranch

I stayed here while my house was going through some renovations. I didn’t wanna leave! The best part for me was sitting outside watching the beautiful lake view and listening to the birds sing. Super nice and peaceful place. I would definitely stay again.

We would stay in this property again

The property is in a nice and centrally located neighborhood. We truly enjoyed the view from the patio. It was perfect for our small dog too. The property was well stocked and clean. Our only frustration was not having a book at the property to explain check-in and checkout procedures or how to operate the TV. When I texted for information checking in I got an immediate reply; checking out not so much. However after we left and my husband realized he lost his father’s wedding ring, someone went and looked all through the house and got back to us.

Local Stay During Renovation

My family and I spent 2.5 months here while our [local] home was being remodeled. We're familiar with the location, so knew that everything we needed would be nearby. (I do recommend driving to a different grocery store as the nearby Albertson's is a little underwhelming.) We loved having a lake in the back yard and Wil was very gracious about us moving a lot of our personal belongings into the home. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well-stocked. While I'm excited to move back into my own place, this truly was a great home away from home.
