This house was a perfect in town base for us to gather with friends and attend two concerts at The Anthem. The bedrooms are super quiet and the house had everything we needed! Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Quick trip to DC with family

The apartment itself was great. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The host was easy to communicate with. The only downfall to this property was the location. It is not in the best part of town which made me anxious. If was staying here alone I would not be comfortable at all.

Great stay!

Stephanie's place was great! We stayed for 4nights: 2 adults, an 11yr old and a 3yr old. The house was clean, updated and beautiful throughout. The neighborhood is still 'up and coming' but the house is very secure and the private garage is fantastic. Stephanie is also a fantastic host! - extremely responsive and very attentive. We ran out of laundry detergent and she volunteered to drop some off within 15min of me texting her. We would definitely stay there again on a trip to DC. Thank you Stephanie!

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful stay. The house had great space, the parking pad was awesome. Stephanie had a lot of little personal touches around to make everything top notch. Games, hand soap, shampoo, snacks, drinks, chocolates! The place is just outside of downtown, easy to get to and nice to get away at the end of the day.

Excellent

Stephanie has clearly gone to great lengths to make this rental comfortable for guests. High end appliances and a well stocked kitchen are unlike other VRBO's we've stayed in, complete with extras like coffee pods, water, small snacks/candies. The unit was comfortable, parking was a plus where otherwise it is a challenge. We had a couple of questions that weren't really issues and Stephanie was quickly responsive and willing to help.

Great place to stay in DC!

This property was great! The interior of the property was updated and very clean. The bedding looked like it was out of a five-star hotel. We loved the proximity to downtown DC and found it easy to get around. We did not feel comfortable walking to the streetcar with kids and instead drove to the metro station, which was easy and worked well for us. This property is in a residential neighborhood with a mixture of older and updated homes. Expect typical city sights, sounds, and smells, including sirens and marijuana. We appreciated that the host reached out during our stay to make sure everything was going well (which it was!). I would stay here again.

Spring Break Visit

Our family of five, plus a granny, had a lovely stay! We had no problems getting around via Uber, street car, or metro. We ordered a couple dinners in from neighborhood restaurants, which were great. We would stay here again for sure, Stephanie is an easy to reach host who made sure we had all we need.

Our stay was wonderful-Stephanie (the host) thought of EVERYTHING! Snacks were available when we arrived and the coffee selection was great! Communication with her was very good-prompt responses with detailed information. The apartment was spotless and well appointed. The location was walkable to many restaurants and points of interest. Highly recommend booking this place.

Excellent accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. These are only recommendations rather than negativity : the light fitting is just above sink and as all women sit looking at this area - the fitting was very dusty. Also, would have appreciated understanding that the entry was very difficult after an 18 hr journey. E.g putting a sticker on the rear entry buttons, cause really difficult in darkness. Ora ribbon that fluttered. We were so exhausted that it became a negative beginning. Also, time zone reasons, we were awake at not normal time and were regularly cold in property, cause it wasn’t American normal times. It would have been special if knowledge of time zones cud b accommodated. I appreciate this is a big ask, but just a 5 star standard, which I believe this property deserves

Tour of DC

We came to town to do all things DC and the property was perfect! We were 10 minutes by car for most everything. We parked and Ubered everyplace. Our host was very helpful and attentive!

Excellent!!

Perfect place to stay! Clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed to cook a few meals in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Very short walk to the Street car that stopped at Union Station. Host checked in with us through the app. Would definitely recommend this property.

Absolutely Fantastic!!!

Everything about our stay was excellent. The place is very warm and welcoming...it is very clean and lots of extra touches throughout. Very convenient and close to downtown. My husband appreciated the quality of the kitchen appliances, my son loved the shower, and all of the kids were in awe of the glowing color changing toilet lights (LOL). The designated parking space was a great plus. I loved the attentiveness and friendliness of the host.... she really wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend and stay there again.

Wonderful property, convenient location

We loved staying at this property! It was perfect for our family of 5. The host was extremely helpful and added all sorts of nice extras to our stay. The property is super close to the (free) street car, which takes you to Union Station so it was easy to get to anywhere in the city via public transportation.

City trip

The apartment is thoughtfully designed and in a quiet neighborhood. The (free) DC Streetcar is just a 3 minutes walk away and gets you to Union Station within 15-20 minutes from where you can walk to the museums, etc.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable

My wife and I and two other family members did a "girls' weekend" in DC earlier this month staying at this rental. It was a relaxing, super clean and comfortable home base with everything we needed to feel at home. Gorgeous kitchen and bathrooms, pretty furnishings, comfortable beds!! cool artwork and well-kept on the outside. Host was friendly, accessible, and helpful. Safe enclosed parking for our car. The location is a little rough around the edges - we saw police a couple times - but also near several excellent restaurants, including one Food & Wine recently put on its Top 20 U.S. restaurants list. Just a couple miles from the U.S. Capitol. Neighbors were friendly - everyone said hello when we saw them outside and being from Boston (where that doesn't necessarily happen) that was noticeable and welcomed. Not public transportation accessible - we took ride shares which were easy to get.

Spring break visit to DC

Great spot very nice beds, linens and kitchen. We took Ubers daily to the Mall about a 15–20min quick ride so convenient for us. There are bus stops a 2 min walk away. Safeway was 5 min walk. Tried a few restaurants on H street also in walking distance. Host checked in with us by the app and was available for any concerns for which we had none during our stay. Would definitely recommend this VRBO.

Great place

The stay was just perfect for a home base in DC. We where in town for business meetings with politicians. Easy access to the capital, restaurants, monuments, and museums in-between meetings.

Amazing Stay!

Stephanie's home is wonderful -- extremely clean, tastefully updated, spacious, and located in an area that is close to just about everything. We even had our own parking spot. We felt like we were home away from home. She is highly responsive and even left some goodies for us for the holiday. We would definitely stay in her place again. Highly recommended!
