Welcome to your perfect getaway! This 5-star gem in DC's H Street neighborhood offers a charming, spacious retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. With its blend of modern amenities and historic charm, this home is perfect for unwinding after exploring the nation's capital's vibrant culture, iconic landmarks, and hidden gems.

3 BEDROOMS, SLEEPS 6/7:

UPPER LEVEL:
2 rooms with queen beds, closets, and TVs.
Bedroom 1 has a private full bathroom.
Bedroom 2 has a shared full bathroom on the same level.

MAIN LEVEL:
Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed that sleeps 3 and has a shared half bath.

2.5 BATHROOMS

FULL KITCHEN:
Fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, plenty of dishes, etc.

PORCH:
Front porch and back deck.

PARKING:
Private parking space in the back of the house. The parking space is tight. It will not fit full-size trucks or large SUVs. Backing in is the easiest.
Street parking is available (with time restrictions on weekdays).

KID-FRIENDLY:
A highchair and a Pack n' Play are provided with a few bottles, sippy cups, and kid-sized utensils. Motion nightlights are also located throughout the house.

WASHER AND DRYER:
Full-size and detergent provided.


LOCATION:
.4 miles from the H Street Corridor
2 miles to the closest metro station, which is Union Station

Many grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and shopping places are within walking distance

HOUSE RULES:
- No parties or gatherings are allowed at the property.
- Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM—please keep noise levels low after 9 PM to be mindful of our neighbors.
- No smoking inside the home, including vaping, incense, or anything similar.
- No burning candles or other wax-related products are allowed in the home.
- Recreational drugs are not permitted anywhere on the property.
- Avoid leaning or standing against the neighbor's back fence—no barrier exists between OUR BACK DECK and the neighbor’s fence, and any standing or leaning against their fence is prohibited.

Enjoyable stay! We have a large SUV, it did not fit in the off street parking space. The street parking worked out just fine though. Close enough to downtown and near an Aldi’s for groceries. Great for families looking to explore during the day and cook/eat at home.

Great location and an amazing host. Ashleigh and Zhivko was very quick and preemptive in considering all we would need to make our stay comfortable. The kids enjoyed the games they had for them and we enjoyed the stay for a party of 6. We most certainly will come back to this awesome place again when we are in DC

If your going to DC to see the sights this is the place to set-up for the trip. It is easy to get too and it is very close to all the sights. There are little markets really close to this location so getting items and food was really easy and it is in walking distance to the house as well.

We enjoyed our stay! The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. We all slept well and absolutely loved the shower heads.

Great Place

Loved the house. Super clean and so modern. Everything is brand new and we enjoyed it so much. Parking in the back for our rental car and super easy to access.

House was very clean, very organized and flowed very well. Couches were a little tough for comfort, but we weren't there for staying inside. The host gave us a huge amount of information about the area, good eats, play space for kids, etc. Check in and out was a breeze and being close to everything made it so much easier! The host made sure to give us exceptional travel information about moving around the city. It was a great stay!

Great stay with very accommodating hosts. House was clean and fully stocked with the essentials. Off street parking is snug, perfect for our sedan but anything bigger might have trouble utilizing it as it’s alley access. Easy walk to trolley that brings you to Union Station for the Metro. Best perk of the stay was not having to strip beds, start laundry, take trash to curb, etc that many rentals require. As the host said, it’s your vacation we want you to relax we take care of the clean up! 5/5 would stay here again!

Great place for a group of 7, especially with kids & have the bunk beds. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions. It was alittle warm in the upstairs bedrooms even with the 2 portable AC units but we managed. A short walk to the free DC trolley which was used daily with our group. If you have a bigger vehicle, the parking spot in the back is tricky to get into so once you’re parked, I’d leave it and walk to the free trolley. Also a short walk to a couple grocery stores so that was handy as well.

This house was very crisply decorated; I loved the simplicity of mostly black and white. Everything we needed was provided: there were lots of dishes, pots & pans and glasses in the kitchen. The bathrooms had all the amenities including toiletries. The place was very clean. The only things that we struggled with were getting our long minivan into the parking spot behind the house and not having railings on the staircases inside or out for my 85 year old grandma. Those were issues unique to our situation, so I did not reduce the rating at all. It really was the perfect getaway!

Overall, my family of 7 had a very good stay at this property! Pros:1. Plenty of space for our family. My kids thought the triple bunk room was fun. 2. Bathrooms upstairs were very nice.3. Not too hard to get to the attractions - we drove into DC every day and parked in the Ronald Reagan Building Garage (about 30 mins) or the Union Station Garage (about 20 mins). 4. Aldi within walking distance5. Gas stove and big fridge6. Convenient washer/dryer7. Host communicated well and offered us a late check out if desiredCons:1. There was a bad smell when we walked into the house. It smelled like urine to me, but my husband said it smelled like mold to him. There were several plug in scented devices that we had to remove immediately because we are sensitive to smells.2. Parking spot behind the house is extremely small. We aren't from "the city" so I was freaking out about my husband parking our Honda Odyssey. Once he figured out the technique, it was doable. But I never would have attempted it, and I didn't really see any available street parking out front. 3. The area felt a little sketchy. We didn't venture outside the property except the one time we walked to Aldi. We heard sirens many times.4. The dishwasher is not properly attached so it lurches forward as you fill up the baskets. Our previous VRBO had the same issue, and it's very annoying. 5. Minor issue but I couldn't find any larger serving bowls. We were mixing up our salad in pots and pans. :)

We travelled July 2026 with our family of 5 with adult sized kids for 10 days touring DC and surrounding areas. TL/DR We'd absolutely stay here again! Hosts were amazing, rental was perfect, and was within easy access of places we wanted to go. The neighborhood felt very safe and secure. Full:Perfect home away from home with super easy access to bus routes (C41 & C43 are a 5-10 min walk and can get you anywhere in DC). Use tap & go with a card, or pick up some bus passes at a Metro station (the Armory Metro station is the closest).AC in 100 F summer DC worked great! Loved their extra portable AC units for upstairs rooms. The triple bunk bed (downstairs room) easily fit our 2 adult sized boys. They loved them & said the mattresses were really comfy. All of the TV's worked great (one in each upstairs bedroom plus one in the family room).2 full size showers upstairs were awesome. Beds upstairs were comfy as well. Love the huge master bath!We never felt cramped or on top of each other, which is a feat for a family of our size so kudos to the layout!It's well equipped with plenty of towels, cutlery, dishes, tp & the necessities. Tip: Don't bring anything larger than a minivan (we had a 26 Honda Odyssey), parking in the rear stall is suuuuper tight. We got used to it, but a full size SUV or truck definitely won't fit. Hosts were AMAZING!!! They went out of their way multiple times to make our stay extra special. A Two big thumbs up! You'll love it here!

The location was excellent—very close to central DC. The neighborhood has a bit of an urban edge, but we felt completely safe the entire time, and my new Honda Odyssey was untouched.The parking space behind the house is smaller than it appears in the photos. Unfortunately, my minivan didn’t fit, so we parked on the street, which was convenient and completely hassle-free.The triple bunk bed wasn’t the most comfortable for my kids—they complained quite a bit. For families traveling with children, a double bunk setup with a pull-out couch might be a more comfortable option.Everything else was perfect. The oven and fridge are brand new and high quality, and the shower in the master bedroom was luxurious. We would definitely stay here again!

The house itself is nice, clean, and updated. The other reviews are correct…parking is very tight, but my Toyota Highlander fit…anything bigger would be a problem. The house did not appear to be in the best neighborhood. We would not have felt safe walking around after dark. We also found out after arrival that the trolley to the metro was no longer in business. However, we were prepared to make the best of it. It was unseasonably warm during our visit (early June) so we asked the host for instructions for the portable a/c units for the bedrooms, which they promptly sent. However, the freezer packs needed were not in the house and one of the units was not working correctly. When we spoke to the host about replacing the unit that was not working, he first instructed us to sleep with the windows open if we were hot. As mentioned, we did not feel safe doing so, not to mention the marijuana smell outside. When we told him this, he said that if we were unhappy with the rental he would refund us the whole amount and we could leave. This was at 7-8 pm, we had been traveling all day, and had no other lodging plans, so we were not planning to leave. But the host could not promise us that we would receive a working portable a/c and he was so rude and kept saying “if you’re not happy then leave and we will refund you” so thankfully we were able to book a hotel and we did cancel and leave and I did receive a full refund.
