We booked a weekend to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary 🥳
PRO’s ~ the owner had excellent communication, even offering us the opportunity to check-in early...always responding to any inquiries.
The location is right off the road but feels excluded, the main barn sits on a hill, you can see the Llano River from the back porch.
The cabin, which you drive past first is quaint and fit for a couple/small family or group of friends willing to share the space.
The barn is cool 😎 & comfortable, 2 bedrooms w/separate bathrooms.
Open kitchen / living area in between, tastefully decorated.
There is plenty of room to walk, hike, drive to the river but there is no easy river access.
My parents (in their 70’s) we’re not able to enjoy the river other than be driven to it for viewing.
The place is perfect for R&R, bird watching, viewing wildlife, watching the sunrise/sunset, a bonfire or just sitting enjoying a drink/conversation.
Minimum Con’s ~ mattresses feel dated (or not firm at least -King mattress)
limited silverware in the main barn, I borrowed the toaster from the cabin and it did not function properly (needs to be replaced, 1 added to the main barn)
I would love to return & definitely recommend 🤩
