Bill (William) is a great host and the property, animals and accommodations are extraordinary! We came to the area to visit family and friends and found ourselves sometimes wanting to just hang out here instead, but we couldn’t do that. Maybe next time!

An experience you will never forget!

I loved the vibes of this place, and the drive to get there is amazing. It’s an experience that has humbled me, a born and raised Texan, regarding the beauty of our state! The property owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I would describe him as a true Texan to his core. The property and the animals reflect the love and care that he and his spouse put into this place. Everything about my stay was perfect, including the service. Thank you, Bill!

A wonderful, relaxing weeke

We had a wonderful weekend and the host, Bill, went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and take care of our needs. The views are on the deck was calming and the animals were a fun plus. The beds were great and we all slept well. We will be using again. Carol

Visit from WV

Grandparents recently moved into retirement community in Georgetown. We drove from West Virginia for a visit. The location was great for our family of six. They enjoyed interaction with all the various animals and beautiful surroundings. Grandparents enjoyed visiting with us on the back porch and admired the Longhorns as well as the country setting.And the drive to Georgetown was easy.

This property is a country gem. First let me state that the communication with the Host William (Bill) was on point. I had missed booked the reservation by a day. Reached out to Bill who responded very quickly and I was able to make the change. This place is country living at its greatest. Farm animals (Longhorns, a donkey, chickens, peacocks, horses, and a barn cat named "chicken"), big porch, and a yard swing. Looking for a place to unwind and get away, this is the place. Need anything just ask and Bill will assist if able. Even let me help feed the animals.

Feels like home

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and again we were sad to leave. It literally feels like home (but with a better climate!) There is not a bad comment to be made, everything from cleanliness to hospitality, it has it all. I highly highly recommend!!

Wonderful property and friendliest host!

Bill was an amazing host! There was a slight hiccup in communication the day of arrival but nothing that wasn't quickly remedied. He also was quick to let us know that we had left something vitally important at the house and made it simple for us to retrieve it. My only complaint is that we didn't have longer or better weather to enjoy the stay! We all loved petting the animals but it was too cold for me! We will definitely stay again.

Highly recommend staying here!! It was beyond our expectations! Everything you need and more! Loved the longhorns, horses, peacocks, chickens, etc. Beautiful views and convenient to Vineyard where we attended a wedding!! We did not want to leave!! Thank you Bill for being the best host!!

We had a great time!

We stayed the night for a wedding at the vineyard. Perfect, convenient location. My 1 year old daughter had so much fun walking around looking at the peacocks and horses. The house was cozy but plenty of space for my family and dog.

Perfectly Peaceful

What an amazing experience staying here! No detail left behind, to include stocked kitchen, indoor doggie bed, and farm fresh eggs provided! Bill is a genuine guy and amazing host. The menagerie of animals, on the property, was incredible and made for a bonus experience. Wonderful place to stay!

Granddaughter's Birthday

The location of this property was great for us and we enjoyed being out of the city and away from the traffic. The outdoor spaces are so inviting and even in the central Texas heat, the oak trees were lovely shade. Would recommend!

Awesome stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Bill’s property! We were in town for a wedding at the vineyard. House was clean and nicely decorated! All amenities were provided! Plenty of linens provided too! The farm animals were the special added touch we didn’t know we needed! We will have to come back again as we didn’t spend enough time enjoying it! Thanks Bill!

Texas Ranch Experience

We only wish we had planned a longer stay to really experience the authentic ranch life at this homestead! It was very well stocked with all possible needs met. As welcoming as the host was, the best part was the opportunity to interact with his horses, dogs, cats, peacocks, and photograph the long-horned cattle. Already looking forward to another stay in the future!

“Country Chime” was charming

Our stay at country chime was amazing! We loved being out of the “big city” and we really enjoyed being on the ranch with the beautiful views, Longhorn steer, peacocks and chickens. It was a Texas stay like no other. Our host and ranch hand were so nice and accommodating, giving us farm fresh eggs and helping us set up the fire pit in the evening. The near by winery and restaurant were an added special treat. It was exactly what we were hoping for on our first trip to Texas!

Awesome Experience

We came for a wedding and selected this home because we needed accommodations that were dog friendly. We were not prepared to just fall in love with this place! The owner, Bill,is amazing and friendly and also ready to assist with anything you need. The animals were wonderful to interact with or look at. The view is spectacular. The home was so comfortable and a great escape from the heat. We really enjoyed everything about this place.

Amazing

We literally couldn’t ask for more. Was just like walking into our own home. We arrived super late at night because of flights and Bill had the home all lit up for us. The animals were absolutely amazing. My kiddos loved it as well. The best part….the showers!! Holy moly! Best VRBO we have ever stayed in. We will be back next fall!

Wonderful Time

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. Bill was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed and then some. Even the fresh eggs he had for us were delicious. Spacious, Comfortable, Clean

We really enjoyed the well stocked kitchen (every pot/pan/utensil you might need), comfortable bedding and furniture, and the overall cleanliness. The only issue we had, was the smaller bathroom door does not stay closed due to a flappy piece of door trim. It caused more than one unexpected flashing during our 2-night stay.

Magical Country Experience

This was our second stay at this beautiful property, and we plan to return! The house is immaculate with everything you could possibly need for cooking and more! The animals are friendly and wonderful and kids and adults alike loved feeding them and marveling at their beauty & antics. Bill is the greatest.host.ever., and we are so thankful to him for such perfect family time! (Added bonus: Mom & Dad were able to sneak over to the nearby winery for a fabulous, farm-to-table dinner!) Wins all the way around!
