This was a spacious family-friendly house. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were enough items for all. There even was a crib for the baby. The only thing the house lacked was a beach umbrella. Other than that, all our needs were met. Renters should be aware of their surroundings as there was a bear on the back deck one night. The window in the downstairs bedroom was broken and couldn’t be open. The renting agency advised me not to open it due to the bear sighting. A better solution may have been to have them fix it. Other than that communication was good and we were pleased with the responsiveness.

Great Vacation Experience

This house was the perfect spot to host a get together with our friends. The house was amazing. Tons of space, lots of bedrooms, and a game room! It was nice to find a house that could accommodate a bigger group in a nice neighborhood that was still 15mins from all the casinos, golf courses, and marine. Would definitely recommend staying here again!

Family Gathering

Great stay, loved the house and location was phenomenal! We had 7 adults and 4 kids, and had a great time on the patio, game room, hot tub. It’s a great property which we’ll visit again! My only criticism would be none of the check in/out or welcome emails showed up in my inbox or junk mail. Worked it all out, but a little bit of a hassle getting all settled in. After that, it was a great stay with very responsive property management.

The home is large and bright; the description is accurate re: space, number of bedrooms, etc. Hosts were readily available and very quick to respond to questions or concerns. A good value for the money considering the kitchen is well-stocked, new washer and dryer, good bedroom-bathroom ratio, bath/shower products provided in each bathroom. There were seven adults on this trip and plenty of space. We had adorable visitors one morning - mama bear and two cubs were on the deck, up and under the grill cover searching for food. KEEP DOORS LOCKED. Photos can be a bit deceiving - the home is in a densely populated neighborhood (we imagined a spacious, secluded home surrounded by trees). It is showing significant signs of wear. The carpets are shag and in rough shape. Some screens are torn. No A/C (but plenty of fans in each room and it cooled every evening). The furniture is beaten up and stained. Only one complaint about the beds - queen room off the shared bathroom was uncomfortable (all others were fine). We did request a hot tub cleaning a few days into our trip - was very cloudy. Read the fine print! There are curfews in place and outdoor activity including hot tub use is strictly prohibited past 10 PM. South Tahoe is not a rustic, quiet hamlet. It is busy with strip malls, small motels and lodges, fast food restaurants, a few resorts and the casinos. But many highlights including boating, rafting, hiking, golf at Edgewood and some pretty special dinners!

Family get together

Everything was very nice, my only real concern was the mattress need to be as high end as the house, unfortunately it wasn't the best sleeping. The one king bed was the only one that was ok, in my opinion. Best Regards

Thank you Scott. I apologize for the issues with the blinds. They are all down for privacy but some don't go up. We're in the process of having them replaced. Thank you again!

Great house but missing a few items

The house was great, plenty of sleeping options for a large group, but it was missing a few key items for a group >10. There weren't enough water glasses, and the neither the outdoor nor indoor table was big enough to seat our entire group of 11. I also couldn't find dishwasher detergent. Other than that the place was great.

Thans for the feedback Sam. I've passed it on to our service team to ensure there are enough glasses. The indoor table isn't large but we do have some extra chairs in the garage if needed for larger group. I'm glad you enjoyed the home overall. Thanks again.

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!

THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME WAS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED RIGHT NOW TO TAKE THE BLUES AWAY. NO NEED TO BRING ANYTHING BUT YOUR WEARY SELF AND YOUR FOOD AND CLOTHES (OPTIONAL RIGHT NOW). WE FELT LIKE PRIVILEGED GUESTS OF A HIGH END RESORT/RETREAT. EACH ROOM WAS WONDERFULLY DECORATED AND APPOINTED WITH GOODIES. WE CURLED UP ON THE COUCH AND DIDN'T WANT TO MOVE. WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE MASTER BEDROOM. IT IS A DESTINATION UNTO ITSELF! MANY NOOKS AND CRANIES FOR A FEW HOURS OF REMOTE WORK IF NECESSARY. GOURMET KITCHEN AND GREAT TV - INTERNET ENTERTAINMENT. WE HATED TO LEAVE AND HOPE TO COME BACK AGAIN TO THIS OASIS IN THE MOUNTAINS. MARK & FAMILY

Great stay

This wonderful home has a great floor plan, amenities for families with children, and location to escape while remaining close to restaurants, etc. The home did not have an arcade as advertised, but we didn't miss it with the playground, hot tub, cornhole, and nearby trails keeping us busy outside. Property management was excellent and very responsive. Though some light maintenance on carpets, blinds, and some other minor fixes would greatly enhance the experience, we would definitely stay here again!!
