Easter vacation

Overall our stay at this location was great! The house is roomy for everyone! The house needed some cleaning. Not sure if it was because not enough time for cleaning but it seemed like things were definitely missed. The kitchen area lack some needed items so we went out and bought some tea towels, and other essentials. Other than that, we loved are stay and would stay here again.

50th Birthday Dinner Celebration

Perfect size to accommodate family and friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. Adult could socialize without being crowded, and there was a theater room a d pool to keep the kids entertained.

Beautiful House to have a good time

We rented this house for our annual family reunion, Very spacious, many bathrooms and rooms, our teenagers loved the movie theater, large kitchen with the basics to cook, plenty of places to sit to eat, many stairs, a little tired when you don't have condition or for the elderly, has an elevator, large pool with clean water, I would have liked the jacuzzi to be inside, the house is "clean" I think those who clean can put a little more attention to small details; communication with the owner is fabulous he explains in detail everything you occupy to know, with patience, quickly responds, we hope to return soon

Lovely long weekend stay!

The house was great for a long weekend with family. The house is very comfortable and can accommodate a lot of people. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool and playing in the snow outside.

South Tahoe Family and Friend Time

We came up for the weekend and had a wonderful time at the property. Cabin was spacious and the kids had plenty of options to keep them entertained all weekend. I would stay at this property again for future trips. Host was easy to contact, very responsive, and polite.

The perfect property for the perfect weekend!

Dealing with the owner Dennis was a breeze. We spoke on the phone prior to check-in to run through the home. He was very professional and was there to help with anything we needed. The property was perfect and suited us well. I highly recommend it!

Highly recommended stay, we’ll be back

Great property with lots of space and amenities. The indoor pool and sauna were definitely the favorites along with the numerous bedrooms. We had 15 people staying and everyone slept comfortably. Easy check in process and communication with the manager made things go very smoothly. Definitely would stay here again. It’s 15-20 minutes for casinos and lakeside locations.

Fun house

The house worked very well for our family. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The biggest hit was the pool table so much fun! The carpets needed to be cleaned and I ended up washing the one bedspread.

Even better than advertised!

What an incredible property. The check in/ out process was clearly detailed, and easy to follow. Loved how HUGE the house was. Indoor pool was an amazing time, the GIANT table, the two dishwashers, the lovely decks, and the amount of bedrooms was just the icing on top. Couldn't recommend this property enough for a fun time with friends, family, or really any kind of get together!

Large Home with Parking for 7 Cars

Nice home with plenty of room for all. Had a few questions and owner ( Dennis) was quick to respond and help us out. Our family loves Sand Harbor and other beaches along the lake so we were gone most the day. Nights were pleasant with use if fans thru out the home. Kitchen stocked with all thats necessary and huge table to seat all.

Had a wonderful time in this home with the many amenities. From the kids to the adults we were all entertained. Gladys started us off with the great communication and Dennis was such a great host who listened and answered any questions or concerns we had. Great location. Approximately 10 minutes to heavenly village and slopes. Very convenient with rooms either having its own bathroom or shared. Elevator was a plus with luggage and groceries.

Disappointed Stay: Unheated Pool and Maintenance Issues

We recently stayed at this property in Tahoe and were quite disappointed with our experience. One of the main reasons we chose this house was the advertised indoor heated pool, and sauna but to our surprise, neither was not heated during our stay. This was extremely frustrating as it was a key feature we were looking forward to. Additionally, several thermostats in the house were not working initially, which made it difficult to regulate the temperature in some areas. Although the issue was eventually resolved by changing the batteries, this was another inconvenience we hadn't anticipated. Overall, the lack of a functioning heated pool and the thermostat issues overshadowed our stay. It felt like the property wasn’t properly maintained to meet the expectations set by the listing. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests.

Just right

The homes is full of amenities such as suana, hot tub, heated pool, pool table, theater and elevator. Owner was very responsive to needs. Large family suited for stay. Love that there’s a hill on side of house that kids can play, sleds, build snowman right outside! No need to go to snow park although there’s a tubing place within 10 mins. Place could use updated beds, sheets as it’s a little smelly. Bring your linens if staying awhile. Kitchen silverware needs to be restocked. Overall it’s great if you don’t expect perfection. I would use again if we have another extended family getaway.

A Beautiful home in a beautiful place

We stayed at this property with friends and family and we had kids ranging from all ages and adults of all ages. We all enjoyed this beautiful home in a very quite area close to all amenities that South Lake Tahoe provides. The hose was clean and spacious and very convenient. We loved the indoor pool and Jacuzzi and the open and spacious grand room. Home theater and spacious driveway. This home had everything you can ask for all the bedrooms had attached bathroom and there was extra bathroom and shower by the pool and powder room by kitchen. Over we enjoyed our stay and the management and Owner were very kind and hospitable. We will definitely love to rent from them again.

Best Stay in Tahoe so far

My family and I visit Tahoe every year and pick a different house each time we stay. This was by far the best and we'll be here again next year. Communication with Dennis was very easy, check-in was really easy. The grocery and other stores are only a 10 minute drive away. Door dash and Instacart are readily available. 2 sets of washer and dryers, 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers. The adults enjoyed the pool table and kids enjoyed the heated pool. Everyone enjoyed the Theatre room. The heated floors was the chef's kiss. Thanks Dennis, we'll be back.

Family get away

This house was a wonderful get away for our family of 15 plus a newborn! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms that we all had privacy when needed and also large gathering areas that easily fit us all. The pool room, main living room and balcony were our favorite places to hang out. Before going, some in our party were concerned that the kitchen was not going to be roomy enough for all of us (3-4) to be in there cooking, but the layout and where the stove is located opened up the working space in the kitchen that it easily fit all of us who were cooking. And the property manager was very easy to get a hold of and was great about reaching out to us when I had not responded to his email (it ended up in my spam folder). Would definitely recommend and enjoy staying again.

Home Away From Home

Initially our first visit, three years ago, to Jicarilla was because of the size and amenities. Since that time, we return annually for our family vacation because of the owner and accomodations. Our family ranges from 3 to 63 and vacationing in this lovely home provides enjoyment for all. My sincere appreciation for the kind and patient responsiveness of the owner cannot be expressed enough. Perhaps, the fact that we no sooner close the door after one vacation and I am already making plans for the next vacation under the roof of Jicarilla speaks volumes. Indeed, "returning guest" says it all! Wonderful home, wonderful owner.
