Leavenworth getaway

The unit was very spacious with plenty of room inside and out for us to relax. Enjoyed watching the golfers on the course from our balcony. We made breakfast each morning in the condo and planned our day. There were lots of cooking utensils for guest use in the kitchen.

Beautiful setting for a getaway

From the moment we walked in we felt at home. It is decorated well and the seating is well situated and sufficient for a group of 4 and at least 6. The balcony has a nice table with lots of seats as well. It is a lovely condo with everything you could possibly need if you plan to create your own gourmet meal. There are so many small appliances, even a blender. The fireplace in the living room is a godsend on a not-so-nice day. Watching the golfers from the balcony was better than going to the movies. The beds were amazingly comfortable with upscale bedding. I would definitely stay here again. The only detractor for elderly people is that it is on the second floor with 2 flights of stairs. The flights are short and the staircase is wide with hand rails so for the agile senior it should not be a problem. Overall, I rated it excellent because it definitely is.

great location, easy check in, but not clean and broken items

We stayed Sunday/Monday in February. Very quiet in resort because no one was there. good communication with manager about wifi, cable (to watch Superbowl) and restaurant. Unfortunately, I relied on report from manager that restaurant was open, but it was closed Monday when I planned to buy takeout. Leavenworth is a 30 min one way drive, so we ate leftover food rather than drive to get takeout. Main problem with condo is lack of cleanliness in kitchen and broken furniture. oven dirty; pots and pans all in disarray, under the sink filthy. chair leg broken, blinds in master bedroom broken. Linens were clean and plentiful and beds comfortable. Heat was hard to regulate--it got quite warm very fast. we did not use fireplace because we forget to buy presto log. Otherwise, we liked location for snowshoeing and xc skiing, quiet location to watch snowfall. we used netflix at evening and wifi was good.

Christmas 2021

I hate complaining because we did have a good trip. The condo was nice except the kitchen, to many things broken, missing or in poor condition. Communication with Monica at VRBO was very good but not at Kahler Glen. No one was there to check us in, locked up tight and we were there on time. No one to answer the phone numbers either. The Kahler Glen community was perfect, I have mixed feelings about the experience but I will probably stay there again, just not in that unit. EAT AT Wildflour, That was the best.

Great Golf Course View

The condo feels larger than the listed square footage and has a wonderful view of the golf course. The kitchen is a bit dated, but overall it's great to be at Kahler Glen - such a beautiful spot!

Mountains, Rivers and Lake, Oh my!

The property was wonderful. The condo was clean and fresh smelling. It sits right on the 6th Hole and had a comfortable outdoor space where we ate all our meals. I would love to return in the winter sometime. I wished there were better directions to the lake (listed trails to take to the lake and the rivers) but overall we figured it out and had a wonderful time. The golf was great and not overly crowded.

Weekend getaway in WA

We enjoyed our stay at the Kahler Glen Golf & Ski Resort. The property is very spacious with great accommodations. Easy to find and a restaurant on the grounds in case you don’t want to do the 30 minute drive to Leavenworth. Lake Wenatchee is a short walk away with beautiful groomed trails to get you there. Would book again!

Wonderful place! There are all the amenities.

Nice apartment in a nice location. It has everything for life and even more. As for me and my wife, the beds are too soft, but someone might like it. And it's time to change the skillets.

Great Condo with access to Steven’s!

My friend and I stayed at Monica’s place for a long weekend and used it as our home base to go up to Steven’s Pass each day (only 30 min drive). It’s a great location with a great restaurant. The place itself was clean and comfortable and very spacious. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen could have used a few more baking dishes but otherwise we had everything we needed. We are already looking at summer dates to return.

Girls weekend reinvented!

The condo is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Perfect for a girls weekend in the Covid era. We had great communication, instructions and hiking tips from Monica. The large deck is a perfect spot for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. Overall a 5!

Hello! I am a Washington raised nature gal that has fallen in love with Kahler Glen and Lake Wenatchee area. Born to two extremely outdoor enthusiasts, I also have a love for the outdoors and finding ways to spend as much time as possible in nature. By day I work for a large tech company, by weekends and nights I am outside or planning trips to travel the world.

Originally I was introduced to Kahler Glen when my cousin got married at a nearby location. It was then that I saw the potential for Kahler Glen. When I finally (embarrassingly a few years later) went to the banks of Lake Wenatchee, I knew I had to buy property in this wonderful, tranquil, nature preserved area.

After acquiring the condo late in '19, I have been busy to start updating the well built condo, including new paint, new furnishings, artwork, and necessary updates to infrastructure. I have installed high-speed wifi and a massive HD TV to make this the perfect getaway for young and mature couples alike. I hope you like the updates as much as I have enjoyed renovating!
