Beautiful Location and Property!

Family Wedding In Haarlem

We had a wonderful family holiday staying in this property with 8 Adults and a baby. It was the perfect venue and location for our purpose. This location was excellent for shops, restaurants, and near-by transportation. The host was very helpful from start to finish.

Good location to train into Amsterdam

Very nice home. Close to grocery store, train station and drug store. Hostess graciously got us one parking pass for our stay- 2nd car could be parked on another street for free (about 10 minute walk from house). Nice bouquet of pink tulips upon our arrival!

Wonderful house with great location

We absolutely loved this house and had a great stay!! The house itself is lovely - beautiful traditional Dutch features with lots of room. Perfect with teenagers - they were so happy to have the third floor to themselves with their own bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped, living area is very comfortable, and the house has the nicest bathrooms I have ever seen in the Netherlands (heated floor was amazing and a bathtub!). A nice 10 min walk to city center of Haarlem and a quick 15 min train ride to Amsterdam. This house could not have been better for us! Thank you to Maaike and family.

High Quality Townhouse excellently connected to Haarlem, Amsterdam and the sea

The entire house is very modern and attractively furnished. Living room very spacious, kitchen excellently equipped, bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor very nice and spacious with excellent beds. Bedroom on the 2nd floor also well furnished. Interaction with landlords worked smoothly via WhatsApp. There were only three of us, but the size of the house is easily suitable for 4-6 people. 15min away from Haarlem city centre, 10 min to the train station and then 18min to Amsterdam - fast to the sea We really enjoyed our time there - thank you very much

Excellent house in a superb location

This is a spacious property which is very well equipped. There are fantastic shops in the neighbourhood just up the road from the house. The neighbourhood itself is very attractive and the stroll to the bread-shop every morning was a real highlight! Haarlem train station is just ten minutes walk away, so central Amsterdam is only half an hour or so from the house.. A pleasant walk of 20-25 minutes takes you to the centre of Haarlem. Overall, a very desirable property - and the owner was always at pains to answer all our questions, however, trivial! Very highly recommended.

Evaluation of stay

Very good, we immediately felt at home! Perhaps we missed that, but it was not clear where we had to throw out part of the garbage. Thus we did not know where the location was for the garbage where one has to use the card. So maybe a bit more extensive description of what one is expected to do here and details would be helpful. Again we overlooked something, but some of us found that a bit more knives could be helpful. So extremely minor comments!

Perfect family stay

Our family of 5 stayed here to enjoy Haarlem and Amsterdam. We rented bikes and did some great bike rides in the countryside.l and to the beach. The bikes also made it super quick to get to central Haarlem. The train to Amsterdam is quick and easy. Our kids loved playing table tennis and the outdoor patio and garden was where we ate every night. The house is even prettier and nicer than the pictures. A really lovely place that is cared for and well-maintained. We cooked dinner in the lovely kitchen many nights. We were there in a heat wave, and were able to keep the house temperature tolerable by use of a fan, portable air conditioner and windows. The addition of two or three extra portable fans would be very helpful for future summer guests. Overall, if you have a family and are considering Haarlem you will be very pleased with this house. We stay in VRBOs all around the world, and this was one of the nicest.

Haarlem ist eine wunderschöne Stadt, die Lage vom Haus bietet Urlaubsfeeling von Anfang an, alles in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in 15 Minuten an einem schönen Badesee, zum Meer auch nicht lange. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet.

Familientrip

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Das Haus ist eine echte Wohlfühloase. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, die Räume großzügig, man mag fast gar keine Ausflüge mehr machen. Haben wir dann trotzdem. Stadtmitte, Bahnhof und Supermärkte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe (max. 20 Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt). Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 20 Minuten in Zandvoort. Also ideale Lage. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, ein paar regionalen Köstlichkeiten inclusive. Herzlichen Dank dafür noch mal. Die Treppe war für die älteren Teilnehmer eine kleine Herausforderung. Da kann man der Treppe aber keinen Vorwurf machen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wundervolles Haus mit viel Charme am Stadtrand

Haarlem ist eine malerische Stadt mit vielen schönen Plätzen und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Amsterdam, ans Meer und an spannende Orte in Nordholland. Das Haus ist ausgezeichnet gelegen mit Blick auf einen idyllischen Kanalabschnitt und nah zu einem Park und zum Zentrum von Haarlem. In seinen grosszügigen Räumen mit der geschmackvollen Ausstattung fühlt man sich sofort wohl.

Wunderschönes Stadthaus im Zentrum von Haarlem

In einem wunderschön sanierten, großzügigen Stadthaus, im Zentrum von Haarlem, gegenüber eines Parks an einer schönen Gracht haben wir eine traumhaft schöne Woche verbracht. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und das Zentrum von Haarlem sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr schön ist auch die Nähe zur Nordsee und den Dünen. Wir haben es sehr genossen und danken den Gastgebern. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Wonderful house and perfect hosts

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The house is very big and perfect for a family with two kids. Everything is exactly like shown on the pictures and described in the text. Maaike is a perfect host and she was always available for all our questions.

Lovely town house

Very nice property, very spacious and ideally situated. Close to Amsterdam and a beautiful natural park by the sea. Lovely canals on the door step, local shops, possibility to hire boats and bikes nearby. I would recommend this holiday home.

Fantastic house in a lovely part of Haarlem

A good location for visiting Haarlem and surrounding area. It is close to the train station for 15 minute journey into Amsterdam, and Haarlem itself is a great town that we could easily have spent more time exploring. The house itself is large and well fitted out with lots of period charm, and worked well for our family of four. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful home in an excellent location. Close to bus, train as well as grocery shopping. Did not have access to all the amenities advertised on the app. The home was listed as four bedrooms and we only had access to three. Also could not find the microwave or hair dryer listed. However, we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home.

Stilvoll und gut gelegen

Dieses Haus im typischen Stil ist wunderbar und stilvoll eingerichtet, es war perfekt für unsere Familie (mit zwei Kindern). Der Kontakt zu den Besitzern war sehr nett und unkompliziert, empfangen wurden wir durch eine Hostesse und ein gut vorbereitetes „Starterpaket“ mit Hinweisen zum Haus und Tips für die Umgebung, Ausflüge, Essen etc. Am besten stellt man gleich zu Beginn das Auto weg (Parken ist etwas schwierig wegen der verbreiteten Parkzonen), mietet sich Fahrräder und nutzt Bus und Bahn - wegen der Nähe zum Bahnhof und der Innenstadt überhaupt kein Problem. Wir danken für eine rundum gelungene Urlaubserfahrung !
