Beautiful views all around the house!

We have had a lovely stay. The views are magnificent. A perfect place for relaxing. The house is beautiful and clean an has everthing you need. The location is remote and very quiet.

Tranquility, relaxation and city life combined

Vilamarxant provided us with all we could have hoped for. The peace and tranquillity of a stunning location, surrounded by orange groves and hills, and yet only a short drive/train into the bustling city of Valencia (a car is essential). With a good choice of supermarkets and restaurants within a 10km radius, this is the perfect place to use a base for exploring the beautiful and historic Valencian Community. The villa is charming, and feels like a home. It's spacious, clean, well equipped and has the benefit of lovely gardens and a private pool (the sunsets were spectacular). The host, Brigitte, is a superb communicator and responds to any queries/requests pretty much straight away. Stand out highlights of the trip the Oceanografic, Valencia's old quarter, Albufera, & Sagunto. Thoroughly recommended.

Nous avons passé de très bonne vacances dans cette maison. Le soleil était au rdv et nous avons pu profiter de la piscine de la douche extérieure du barbecue de la terrasse…. À 30 minute de Valence nous avons découvert cette magnifique ville. L accueil a été parfait malgré la difficulté de la langue Belen a été charmante très bonne personne Nous espérons bien revenir un jour

Für unseren Kurzurlaub mit Selbstversorgung war das Haus mit guter Ausstattung Ideal. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und die Vermieterin war sehr nett und telefonisch gut und immer erreichbar.

La casa bien, los servicios no son todos los que estan

La casa está bien, es agradable. Pero aconsejamos confirmar los servicios y opciones que se presentan en el anuncio. Porque parece que según la época del año unos estan disponibles y otros no. Nosotros no pudimos disponer de chimenea-calefacción suficiente para el salón o habitaciones simultáneamente. Ni de la piscina. La potencia de luz es insuficiente para más de un aparato de calor. El lavavajillas tenía una puesta en marcha complicadisima debido a su estado y se debería avisar de que se ha de preveer leña y carbón para la barbacoa.

Perfect retreat, off the beaten track.

We travel with a dog and we chose this property mostly because of its generous outdoor space. Communication with the owner and property manager was very good. When we arrived we were greeted by a man called Lino, he lives locally and looks after the house. He was very helpful and friendly and despite language gaps on both sides, we communicated well with help of his mobile app. The house has been updated since the photos were taken and we were pleasantly surprised. It is equipped well, high quality beds, bedding, matresses, plenty of clean towels helped us feel at home. In overall the house was clean, some areas (under the bed, some ornaments, outside furniture) required dusting, but it didn't affect our stay. Perhaps there was a longer gap between bookings. It is a rural house with its quirks (quite cold, electricity draw is limited, car is a must) which for us adds to the charm. We booked the house for 4 weeks between mid December to mid January and had a really good time. In the first two weeks at midday we were sunbathing by the pool, then it got a bit colder, but we still managed to go hiking and sightseeing. With cold evenings we used both electric heaters/ air conditioners and a fireplace to keep warm. A dumpy bag of wood provided by the owner was great! If you book in winter for a longer stay like us, bear in mind that you will need to use a lot of electricity to keep the house warm, we were asked to pay for what we used before departure, which is fair enough, as we had some form of electric heating on for most of the time. Practicalities aside, location is stunning, open views of mountains and orange groves are beautiful and peaceful. Towns of Pedralba and Villamarxant offer good places to eat, shop and observe authentic Spanish lifestyle. Brigitte took time to prepare very good information packs in several languages, which helped a lot. The outside kitchen with a huge bbq and paellero was a great bonus, perfect for preparing and cooking fish and seafood. There is also a utility room with a washing machine, 2nd toilet and a bathtub. The house is a 30 minute drive from Valencia airport, which is a huge bonus. It is ideal for pet owners and everyone looking for peace and contact with nature. The house has a private and quiet location, but there are other houses across the road. We will book this house again, and even tried to extend our stay, as 4 weeks seemed a bit short. Thank you for sharing your house with us, we felt at home there.

Très bon potentiel, mais………

La maison a tout pour plaire ,elle est confortable et tout est prévu ; des bouquins dans la bibliothèque au nécessaire de couture ,le réhausseur et la vaisselle pour petit . L’ extérieur est vaste et plein de charme .Gros bémol à l’arrivée ,la personne de contact fait faux bon,le ménage à été baclé . ( la propriétaire nous propose le remboursement des frais de nettoyage).Pas d entretien de la piscine durant les 15 jours .
