Great location, tarnished by awful check in
Be aware that if you are booking this property, you have to pick up and drop off the keys in Courchevel 1550. That was not advertised at the time of booking. We did not have a car and despite around 10 emails with the managing agent to try to find an alternative, were told we had to pick them up and drop them off ourselves. There is a free shuttle but the times meant a 90 minute additional round journey on arrival. Our return shuttle was early and there were no shuttle buses that would have got us there and back in time. So i had to walk, which took around 50 minutes. This is not ok when you are paying a significant amount of money. In addition there were many things that were not included in the price- towels, bed sheets, cleaning materials, end clean etc, which added up to quite a lot. Finally, there was only a half toilet roll in the property.It was a shame as the property was great. The location is excellent and we loved that you can ski in and out. Whilst the agents were not helpful about the keys, they did supply a small local set of produce eg jam and genepi, which was nice.
