We are South Dakota natives that grew up on ranches.

This is a very unique, sought after property. It is located between the popular towns of Sturgis, Spearfish and Deadwood, SD. Located on 20 private acres for your enjoyment to ride or hike. Asphalt driveways-plenty of outside parking. Covered overhang for motorcycles or vehicles. This property is a perfect place for our own horses, but since we do own another property for our home, we decided to make this available for vacations rental. The condo is updated and modern with fresh paint and new furnishings. You will enjoy the outside deck. Our location is only 15 minutes from Sturgis, Spearfish or Deadwood, so the location cannot be beat. You can avoid the noise of the events, yet be close enough to get to all quickly. Sturgis is the home of the world famous and largest motorcycle rally in the world. Thousands of riders and lookers come to enjoy the event as well as to enjoy the Black Hills. Deadwood is a famous, historic western town with many exciting events as well as legalized gambling. Popular events are the Days of 76 and Cool Deadwood nights. Deadwood hosts many weekend events through out the summer too. Spearfish is fun town with shopping and dining. Mt Rushmore is about 1.5 hours away. While traveling there stop in Hill City for shopping and great German food at the Alpine Inn. Hill City also has wineries with free wine tastings and food at some of them. While in Hill City, ride the famous 1880 train. Close to Hill City is Keystone-a popular stop for visitors. Custer State Park, another must visit, boasts of a roaming 1,300 buffalo and plenty of other wild life-except the burros who will come up to your car window to say hello. It is about a 2 hour drive from the ranch. The Black Hills has become an ATV paradise with its hundreds of groomed trails through out the entire Black Hills area. Many ride what is called the Mickleson Trail which runs from Deadwood to Custer.

Exclusive, pristine, private 20 acres that is close to most of the attractions the Black Hills has to offer. The main airport is in Rapid City that is about 60 miles or 1 hour plus away. Rapid City is also home to Ellsworth Air Force Base. Rapid City offers the best shopping in the area and has many fine restaurants. Look for original Indian made gifts that can be found in Rapid City. Also every visitor wants to take home some Black Hills Gold Jewelry. There are plenty of shops that carry this unique and exquisite jewelry made in this area. If you are looking for turquoise jewelry, many shops carry it in every city and the most authentic handmade turquoise jewelry is found in Deadwood at "Dakota Stone Turquoise". Mt Rushmore shop has a beautiful supply of both kinds of jewelry too. We love the Black Hills and love our property and condo. It is so peaceful. You will enjoy the fresh mountain air and the beautiful surroundings. There is also plenty of availability for water sports and fishing. Pactola Lake is open for boating, sailing and water sports plus fishing. Sheridan Lake is available for fishing and has a swimming area. Both are only about 1 hour away from the ranch. There are other smaller fresh water lakes throughout the Black Hills for you to enjoy. One in particular is Slyvan Lake-and you will want to visit it. Take along a picnic lunch and your swimming suits as well as your fishing gear. You can hike around the entire lake-it is the jewel of the Black Hills. If you wish to dine, The Slyvan Lake Lodge offers delicious food and drink that can be enjoyed inside or outside on their rock patio. While there you can also hike to Harney Peak-the highest point in the Black Hills. Drive the Needles Highway too-it is in same area as Mt Rushmore. At Mt Rushmore, hike around the circle trail for close up experience of the carving. Also, visit Crazy Horse Monument in Custer. There is just so much to see and do that it is hard to include it all.
