Nestled in the scenic Boulder Canyon between Sturgis and Deadwood, this charming cabin offers the perfect Black Hills getaway—just under 10 minutes from downtown Deadwood!



Located in the Pillar Peak Development, Deer Ridge Lodge is close to Apple Springs Golf Course and the Camp 5 Trailhead—ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you're bringing your ATVs, mountain bikes, or hiking boots, you'll love the easy access to adventure.



Step outside and take in the breathtaking views, or entertain guests in the spacious outdoor area. Inside, the walk-out basement is a guest favorite, featuring:

Beautiful, easily-accessible location!

The property managers were very easy to communicate with, and the house is beautiful! The location is tucked into the hills far enough to get away, but very accessible and easy to get to. The view from the deck and hot tub was perfect. The house was also very clean, and well-kept!

Beautiful log house

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! Very neat, clean and amazing sunrise to drink coffee while watching! My family felt right at home and had multiple floors to explore. We enjoyed the game room and open concept. The bonus room with bunk beds was a hit. Close to deadwood and the slops in lead. We had a blast! The host put up a Christmas tree per our request and we really appreciated that personal touch. 🥰

Summer Family Vacation

The property is in a great location and was well-suited for our family of seven. The teenagers kept busy in the lower level game room, and the adults loved the outdoor deck area. We watched turkeys and deer in the backyard during our stay in August. We do wish there would have been more outdoor furniture so we could all enjoy the outdoor space comfortably together. This home feels very secluded even though it is in a development. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Very nice area and secluded

We all enjoyed our time. Heidi and Jon are great to deal with. Just close enough to so many attractions and sights that you are always busy. The house is very nice and was set up with anything that was needed.

Our group of 6 really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful rental. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck taking in the Black Hills and relaxing in the hot tub. It was a good location to check out Deadwood and do day trips to Mount Rushmore and Wall/Badlands. At first we didn’t understand that the code was not for the lockbox and needed to reset the water pump (well water). However, in both cases, Heidi responded quickly with instructions.

Amazing place!!!

Amazing home, perfect fit for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids. Nice, clean, and lots for the kids to do. There was a ping pong table, board and card games, movies, an arcade game, and colors and coloring books. Everything else they listed as being there was. Had a beautiful view and was easy to get to. The owners were easy to talk to and very helpful even going above to help with the garbage situation when the garbage truck was behind schedule by a day or 2 they came and took some out so we didn’t have to worry about where to put our trash. I would definitely rent this place again and recommend it to anyone.
