*****THE PROPERTY*****

Treat yourself on your next vacation in Orange Beach, AL by staying at this charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental! Situated on the 1st floor in a unique complex that includes amenities on both the beachfront, Gulf side as well as the Ole River side – this unit offers a great place for making fun memories during your escape. Viewing beautiful sunrises and sunsets is an easy task when you have access to both waterways to watch them over!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is located on the first floor of the Lei Lani Mini Towers building, situated on the Ole River side of the Lei Lani Complex. You will find the living room with flat screen cable TV and a full-sized sleeper sofa to be a perfect place to unwind after a long day of sunbathing, swimming, and adventure taking! Additionally, the kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need for cooking up delicious meals when you are not enjoying takeout from the nearby restaurants. Feel free to step out on to the private patio/balcony in the mornings or evenings, as well, to enjoy some coffee or wine as you relax. Drip-style coffee maker and Keurig, both are provided.

There's no shortage of comfortable places to lay your head when the sun goes down, either! The master bedroom features a cozy king-sized bed and en-suite access to the master bathroom, with a tub/shower combo. In the guest bedroom, you will find a Queen bed, allowing for a total of up to 6 guests to rest comfortably. The second full bath has another tub/shower combo.

When you are ready to take a dip, you will have access to one of the complex's three pools. An outdoor pool is located on the Ole River side (closest to this unit) and another outdoor pool and indoor pool are located across the street on the beach side of the complex! A tennis court, grilling area and shaded gazebo area are also located on the Ole River side, with another grilling and gazebo area located on the beach side. When you stay here, you will have plenty of options. Additionally, there is a push-to-walk button at the crosswalk to allow for safe crossing between both sides of the complex – one less thing to worry about!

*****THE LOCATION*****

Whether you are looking to relax or seek adventure on your vacation, location is everything and this location allows you to create any kind of experience you would like! Along Perdido Beach Boulevard, numerous dining destinations are available, as well as souvenir shops, clothing boutiques, and family-friendly entertainment. When the sun goes down, enjoy the night life of Orange Beach with fresh drinks and live entertainment at several venues along the beach.

You are just minutes from every activity the island has to offer whether it's sport fishing on the Gulf, reading a book on the beach, parasailing, hiking the Backcountry Trails, glass blowing and pottery throwing at the waterfront Coastal Arts Center, shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall and just a few miles away from the OWA Amusement Park and Entertainment Complex.

*****ADDITIONAL DETAILS*****

* RENTAL AGREEMENT: Rental Agreement must be signed to receive Check-In Information.

* AGE RESTRICTION: Policy strictly enforced 25 years or older with renter 25 years old staying in unit. No refunds for anyone trying to rent that is not at least 25 years old.

* PARKING: MAXIMUM of 2 vehicles per unit/per reservation, no exceptions - STRICTLY ENFORCED. One (1) parking pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you need a second parking pass, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to arrival so that we can charge you for it and provide it to you at check-in. The cost is approximately $60 per vehicle and valid for the duration of your stay. The parking pass is inside the property on the kitchen counter. You must complete (no blank lines) and display the parking pass on your driver's side front dash in plain sight during your stay. *PRICE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

* WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: While all Sands of Alabama rental units are set up for normal housekeeping, the properties will NOT have cleaning products or toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and soaps intended to last for the duration of your stay. Each rental property is furnished with a STARTER SET of paper products for your first night. This set includes one roll of paper towels, a small bottle of liquid dish soap, one powder dishwashing packet, one can liner per trash can, one travel size hand soap and body soap per bathroom and one roll of bathroom tissue in each bathroom. Please bring extras.

* ABSOLUTELY NO PETS

* CHECK-IN: After 4PM on the day your reservation begins. Early check-in is NOT possible.

* CHECK OUT: Check out time is 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged for an additional day.

* MONTHLY RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call for special monthly rates.

Great axcess to ocean.
We had a great time. Condo's location is great and was comfortable and clean. Only reason not five stars is there is NO soundproofing between our ceiling and floor of above condo. Condo above rents for up to 7 persons and it sounded like a herd of elephants above us. So loud we thought they were doing construction work. If you have good hearing beware!

Parrothead Week
We had an excellent time this past week at the Meeting of the Minds. We come to Orange Beach every other year and always try and stay at the Lei Lani property. This was our first time in this unit. The unit had plenty of room for us and was in perfect condition. Great view and price. We can’t wait to come back next year for the MOTM.

Fall Break stay.
First of all, let me start with the positives. We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and well decorated. The view was nice. You can see the beach and the water. We were looking for an affordable place with a decent view for a quick trip. This fit the bill. We would stay here again. Now for the "room to improve" areas, we rented an extra first day so that we could get right in our room since we had to drive through the night after a ballgame. When we arrived, we could not get the code to work in the keypad. I called the customer service number and was asked silly questions over and over about how I was pressing the numbers, etc. She told me she would call me right back. She didn't. I had to call her back. She said she would contact someone and then call me right back again. She didn't. Instead, she texted me to tell me that the batteries were down in the keypad. This had taken about an hour. She informed me that it would be about 30 minutes before someone could get there to change them. I told her that an hour and a half was a little ridiculous and that I would like a manager to call me. I was ignored. Thankfully, a very nice lady arrived in about 15 minutes with batteries and a key. She was very helpful. The kitchen could use things like a tea pitcher and a blender. Sleeper sofa was broken. We reported it, but turned down a repairman and used an air mattress instead. No strangers, please.

Nice property but….
Overall, we enjoyed the property. It’s in a great location, very neat, well decorated, well maintained. I have 2 issues. The main bedroom was too small for the king sized bed which made it very tight to move around in and led to a lot of banging shins and feet against the bed frame. The second and bigger problem was the thermostat. It wasn’t very responsive which led to lots of getting up and down throughout the day and night to try and get the temperature right. It always seemed to lag the setting and so the temperature in the place was either cold or way too cold or stuffy. Probably needs a better thermostat because the ac was definitely working. 3.5 stars
