Great Getaway

I had a great time relaxing and unwinding on the lake for a week! The rooms were great - super clean and had more than I was asking for - I had a fantastic time reading in the living room and on the porch, and the WiFi was more than enough for work when I needed to hop online for a bit. Will definitely be coming back and staying here if I’m ever in the area again!

Perfect Madison area rental

We had a great stay! The guest home is great and gave us plenty of room the spread out. We loved having use of the lake and the kids play areas on the property. Peggy was wonderfully kind and helpful. We will definitely be staying again!

Amazing getaway!

We came to watch our son in the SDSU marching band during Hobo Days! This was an amazing place to stay the weekend - the kids were in love with the play house and begged not to leave! Luckily we were are to enjoy the lake side fire pit. Such wonderful time! Thank you to the fantastic hosts!

Perfect location!

We loved this house. Peggy and Rich were wonderful hosts. The house is very nice and comfortable. Well furnished and has everything we could have needed. Quiet neighborhood. We loved being able to use the kayaks. Perfectly clean!!

Wonderful Stay

I'm not sure there is a better place to stay with kids. Peggy has so much for the kids to do whether the weather is good or bad. The house was absolutely perfect for our 2 families to stay together, and the day on the lake was a blast. Highly recommended.

Great weekend

Nice house and perfect for little kids. Playhouse was amazing. Lots of toys for the kids at the beach. Great yard and beach area. Peggy was very nice and accommodating.

Peaceful and Quiet

Very Clean and organized, enjoyed our stay, the kids loved all the toys, playhouse, and beach. The older kids enjoyed the paddle boats. We wish the water would have been a little less green but thats the summer we are having. Also all the bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs not on the main floor.

Hidden gem

We had the best stay! The property and lake are beautiful and most days we had the lake completely to ourselves. Peggy and Rich are so accommodating and want you to feel at home. They are generous with their property use and all the fun things that go with it (kayaks, toys, playhouse, etc). We cannot wait to book another stay!
