Welcome to Le bon accueil de la Cotinière !

It’s a former fisherman’s house which has been recently renovated.

Its perfect location enables you to enjoy the facilities of La Cotinière within walking distance without the discomfort of the noises of the town.

There is a quiet 300 m² enclosed garden which is not overlooked and a sunny terrace with a pergola to enjoy it at all times.

The house was entirely renovated and it’s comfortable and convenient. It’s heated so it can be used all year long.

There are:
4 double bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs.
Two bathrooms with showers and two toilets (one on each floor).
A fully equipped kitchen.
A large garage for you to keep your bicycles or your car even if it’s possible to park in the street in front of the house for free.
A folding crib with a real mattress, 4 sunbeds, a griddle, fiber WIFI access, a flatscreen TV, a DVD player, two different decoders for French TNT-sat or British Freeview channels, a washing machine, a tumble-dryer, a dishwasher and all the appliances that you can expect in a modern house.

The pergola’s roof has rotating blades that you can open or close and there are big awnings in the poles that go down entirely.
Thus, you can be protected from the wind and the rain, enjoy the shade or the sunlight.
This works with a remote.

The table in the dining room has two inner extension leaves so that it can accommodate 8 guests.
The table outside can also be extended in no time.

The household linen and the towels are not provided.

It’s possible to rent the household linen and the towels with a laundry, delivered at home.
Price between 100 and 120 euros per week for the 4 rooms.

Great property in the heart of la Cotinière

The property was great for our vacation. Very comfortable stay. We were able to eat all our meals outside thanks to the large automated pergola providing a lot of shade even during the hot times of the day. We used the plancha on the patio to grill all our fish and meats The 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms made our stay with 8 adults very comfortable. The washing machine and the cloth drying line were very practical for all our laundry and coming back from the beach to dry our towels.House is close to the heart of La Cotiniere to get fresh pastries and bread from the bakery every morning. And although the house is close to the activities, it is in a quiet location.

A second visit

We stayed for a second time this year in early April and very much enjoyed the house again which is spacious, clean and well equipped with a lovely garden to enjoy - particularly for stargazing on clear nights. Although the weather was colder and windier than last May/June, we did have some pleasant, sunny, mild days and comfortably ate lunch under the Pergola some of the time and even had the odd breakfast outside. We experienced a problem with our car on the journey down to La Cotiniere, but despite arriving late at night, Laurent still helpfully greeted us on arrival. We again enjoyed the local restaurants and boulangerie as well as a visit to the Le Marais aux Oiseaux near Dolus D’Oleron and the Sunday market in Chateau D’Oleron. And once again, we stocked up on the Sauvignon from Coulon et Fils.

Un groupe d amis très heureux de pouvoir se retrouver. Avec ses 4 chambres, ses 2 salles de bain, sa Pergola , sa Proximité du centre ville ,la maison de Nicolas est parfaite. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Au cœur de la Cotinière

Beau séjour au cœur de la Cotinière, à 2 touts petits pas du port qui est bien animé. La situation permet de se rendre facilement et rapidement sur de nombreuses plages, que ce soit à pieds, à vélo ou en voiture. La maison est très agréable, au calme, avec un jardin où il fait bon se détendre grâce à la pergola que l'on peut moduler selon le temps. Un plus au garage: le panier de basket qui permet aux enfants de se défouler, même par mauvais temps. Un grand merci à Laurent pour son accueil sur place, et à Nicolas pour ses appels de préparation au séjour, et de bienvenue.

La maison est fidèle a sa description. Elle est spacieuse, propre et très bien équipée. Elle est idéalement située prés des commerces, marchands de glaces, restaurants, et de la mer. Le propriétaire est très disponible. Laurent, qui nous a remis les clés est également très disponible et plein de bon conseils sur les visites a faire, les plages, les bons restaurants,...

Lovely house!

We had a very enjoyable stay in La Cotiniere. The house is lovely and spacious with a covered, outdoor eating area, large private garden and in a quiet location just 2 minutes walk into the village.

Enjoyable Oleron

We had a lovely time staying at Nicolas’s house, which is even nicer than it looks in the photographs. The weather was warm and sunny and it was really pleasant to eat our meals out under the pergola (it’s like having an extra room to the house) and enjoy the garden. The little lizards provide amusement by day and the glow-worms by night. Nicolas is really helpful and Laurent who greeted us on arrival is friendly and thoughtful. The house is clean and well equipped with a useful garage for keeping the car in. The location is quiet yet very handy for local restaurants, shops, bakeries and bike hire – we spent an enjoyable day cycling around the north of the island and visiting the lighthouse at Chassiron. It is also handy for local beaches – the beach at Matha is only a 15 min walk away. And finally, it is worth following Nicolas’s recommendation and trying the local wines of Coulon et Fils in St Gilles.

Maison idéale entre amis
