Waterfront vacation home with a private dock in a quiet cove on Smith Mountain Lake!
Enjoy the water views and plenty of amenities at this private home in a secluded location. This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home is just steps to a charming cove. Enjoy your meals or just relax on the upper and lower decks with water views. Tell stories around the firepit.
Inside you will find soaring ceilings, plenty of light and great views. The comfortably furnished rooms invite you to rest and relax. Have fun in the game room!
The private dock has ample room to tie up your own boat. Use the onsite paddle boat to explore or enjoy floating in the lake. The average water depth at the dock is 7 feet.
Just a few short minutes from the Smith Mountain Lake State Park, waterfront marinas, gas docks and restaurants.

Family friendly home

We had a great vacation with our small family. We loved the location in relation to the state park and went almost daily to let our toddler play at the beach front. We enjoyed the deck and the fire pit.

Great Family Escape

Very comfortable family-friendly house. Well appointed house, comfortable beds, and great location. Stairs are a bit steep throughout the house is my only concern (hard for my elderly parents). Otherwise we had a great stay!

Great SML location. Clean and inviting home.

Great location on SML and close to State Park. Clean home with great games for the family. Quiet cove was nice and the kids loved the kayaks and fishing off the pier. Appreciated great boat rental recommendations.

Beautiful views

House was very clean and decorated nicely. Pictures were accurate and was well stocked for a vacation week! Kayaks, life jackets, well equipped kitchen, games, comfy bed. Great week!!

Great place

This was a wonderful house. Clean and spacious. Updates throughout and very well maintained. The treck to the lake is steep. Not a dealbreaker for our family, but something to consider if you are older. Overall a great place 😃

Very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and quiet. Great communication with owner. Easy check in. They had books, games, and toys for kids. We enjoyed using the kayaks, basement game room, and fire pit. The kids really enjoyed fishing off the dock and seeing the deer in the yard. Would recommend.

Living the Lake Life

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week and had a terrific time. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious; the cove was intimate and perfect for swimming; the neighbors were friendly; and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool table, kayaks, and paddle boat. We rented a pontoon boat from the local marina, which I highly recommend as it opens the door to exploring the expanse of the lake. Would come here again without hesitation!

Family Gathering --3 Generations

This property was perfect for half of our large family gathering. We had little ones in this house, so were pleased to find books and games on the shelves. Although I have rented many times via VRBO, it has never been via a management company. Communication was excellent with Casago throughout the entire process.

Lovely lake house

This is a beautiful home in a great part of Smith Mountain Lake. Everything is set up nicely, and there are plenty of games and things to enjoy for rainy days. The dock and the kayaks are fantastic. Our family had a lovely time at this property. The water pressure was a bit low at times. I'm not sure if it's a temporary or more permanent thing. I can say that the management team is very responsive and helpful. The only real criticism I would have is that the listing says it sleeps eight, but it feels like it really only fits seven. Maybe I missed a sleeper sofa or something. Otherwise, you'll have a great time at this location.

Terrific weekend!

Well appointed and stocked home. Kudos for the reverse osmosis water filter (I'm very sensitive to foreign bacteria in water). We are now in love with Smith Mountain Lake!

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time vacationing at SML with our family. This property was in a secluded cove with wonderful neighbors. We were welcomed with a clean home and a vase full of beautiful flowers. The property was stocked with any and everything we could ever need to enjoy our stay. The kitchen was stocked. There were many life jackets, floats, tubes, kayaks, etc. for us to use in the water. We rented two boats from a local marina and had no trouble docking them both at this location. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock every evening and there was a fire pit and beautiful porch for us to enjoy, too. The living space is the perfect amount of open space yet large enough for everyone to have their own space through the day. There is a pool table in the basement as well as a fully stocked laundry room that made it easy to vacation with our infant. The only downfall to this property is the steepness of the steps inside of the home both to the upstairs bedrooms and basement and the steep hill leading down to the dock. It wasn’t an issue for us but could be if you’re traveling with someone who would have trouble walking up or down them. The master suite is on the main level though so using the stairs could be avoided. There was even a great computer that we were able to use to edit photos from our day in the evenings. Kip was easy to get in contact with before and during our stay. We plan to use SML Rentals again when we visit SML next summer! Thanks for sharing your property with us.
