We call our home Valhalla Ranch as an ode to my father, the ultimate Viking of our family, because this was his heaven. We encourage you to bring your family and enjoy one of Island Park, Idaho’s most sought after locations. Our beautiful cabin is set back on its own private paradise of 15 majestic acres with its own private pond and stream. We stock the pond with rainbow trout making fishing one of the children's favorite activities. Valhalla's magnificent views will have you mesmerized for hours gazing at Henry’s Lake, one of the top fishing lakes in the country, or scouring the mountainside for wildlife that migrate through the area. And the best part is that the house is just 14 miles from the gates of Yellowstone National Park!

We offer a spacious 5860 square ft home with four private bedrooms, an open sleeping loft as the 5th bedroom, and three bathrooms for the comfort and convenience of up to 12 guests. All linens are provided for your stay. There is a mini split in the kitchen/dining area as well as one in the primary suite, both providing heat and AC when needed. There are fans in the living room, kitchen/dining area and the two main floor bedrooms. Both the Loft and the main floor bedroom have portable AC units. The downstairs bedrooms stay much cooler in July/August and have floor fans if you need them.

Our open floor plan provides wonderful spaces for families to gather. The large living room, with floor to ceiling windows, is the perfect spot to enjoy the incredible views, watch television, or read and play games. The large kitchen is well stocked and has lots of room for all of the chefs in your group. Enjoy fixing a home cooked meal with family and friends in this well-appointed kitchen or barbecue steaks on the outside grill on the back patio. The dining room seats 8 with additional seating for 4 at the bar. Outdoor dining is encouraged on the expansive wrap around deck.

Enjoy a rousing game of billiards in the downstairs family room or play ping pong in the "kids room". A laundry room with full size washer and dryer are available for your convenience with all supplies provided.

Our outdoors is what sets Valhalla Ranch apart from the rest. Imagine wading in a private stream while watching eagles soar overhead. You will never feel closer to Heaven on Earth than at our little slice of paradise.

Valhalla has Direct TV and a very good reception. Cell phone coverage is excellent.
