A charming 19th-century "bourgeois" Morvan residence, carefully restored, nestled in the peace and quiet of the unspoiled countryside, within a small agricultural and rural hamlet perched on a "panoramic balcony" on a south-facing hillside overlooking a valley of meadows, in the heart of a beautiful rural and natural setting offering the rare privilege of encountering wildlife (deer, hares, foxes, etc.). A sublime, gently rolling mountain setting, nestled in the heart of the wooded bocage (with Charolais cows as neighbors in season), a stone's throw from deep forests, on the slopes of the famous Mont Beuvray, an exceptional viewpoint reaching 821m with breathtaking views (as far as Mont Blanc!). At its summit stands the oppidum of Bibracte, one of the best-preserved ancient Gallic fortified towns, covering 200 hectares (awarded the prestigious "Grand Site de France" label), bordering the verdant valleys of the Méchet and Arroux rivers, as well as Haut Folin (the highest point in Burgundy at 901m). This spacious and very comfortable gîte boasts a warm, contemporary country style enhanced by the character of the place (parquet floors, a superb wooden staircase, a period fireplace mantel, etc.). A cozy and inviting atmosphere. Full of charm. Pleasant enclosed property of 5000m², landscaped with trees and lawn, largely natural, featuring a large courtyard terrace (complemented by a covered terrace) and a pétanque court.
