An authentic 19th-century farm outbuilding, carefully renovated into a very comfortable holiday home, nestled in the peaceful heart of the southern Côte Chalonnaise wine country, close to the charming medieval wine-growing and commercial towns of Saint-Gengoux-le-National, a designated "Town of Character of Burgundy-Franche-Comté" (9 km away), and Buxy (13 km away), both offering numerous amenities (including supermarkets). This charming, typical hamlet is nestled in a bucolic, rolling landscape, a gentle succession of vineyard slopes, hedgerows, meadows, and forests, partly protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" due to the rarity of its ecosystem. Prime location on the routes of the Romanesque churches circuit, the "Route des Grands Vins", a marked "green walk" footpath (to be explored on foot or mountain bike / very rich network of similar hiking trails, winding between vineyards and open nature, to be discovered in the area) & a marked cycle route directly connected to the greenway, 7 km from a 26 km "favorite cycling loop" (2 other routes of the same type to be explored within a radius of about fifteen km), 6 km from the GR76, 7 km from the GR7 & 9 km from the greenway. Just 3 km from the picturesque village of Saint-Martin-du-Tartre, perched on a hillside at an altitude of 430m, like a panoramic viewpoint, it boasts a listed Romanesque-Gothic church dating from the 11th century and a magnificent, unobstructed view over the verdant Guye Valley and its stunning, unspoiled countryside. A splendid landscaped setting, a blend of vineyards, farmland, and natural beauty, nestled in a bucolic valley of hedged meadows, beneath the wooded crests of the gentle surrounding hills, just a stone's throw from the first vineyards and several wild forests (perfect for exploring on relaxing walks or mountain bike rides). This spacious and comfortable cottage boasts a vast living area with a beautiful cathedral ceiling. It exudes a warm, chic country style, both luxurious and refined, enhanced by meticulous heritage restoration (preserving the original stone structure and walls). Absolut empfehlenswert

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von unseren Gastgebern empfangen. Der Check in, als auch Check out war, wie auch die Kommunikation im Vorfeld unkompliziert. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und liebevoll angelegt. Wir empfanden es sogar noch besser, als auf den Foto‘s. Das Haus befindet sich zwar auf einem gemeinsamen Grundstück, jedoch bleibt man dennoch ungestört. Ganz lieben Dank, wir haben uns bei euch sehr wohl gefühlt.
