*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing a property modernization project. Construction may occur daily between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including weekends if needed, and guests may experience construction noise and minor inconveniences. Outdoor amenities (excluding the hot tub) are currently closed and are expected to reopen in Spring 2026. Dates and timelines are subject to change.

Finally, it is here. Unit 401 is truly able to accommodate your vacation needs. Custom furnishings and unique accents detail this entire unit. A full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the dishes, pots and utensils needed to prepare all your family meals are found in this unit. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, along with its own private full bath. The guest bedroom has two double-size beds as well as its own private bathroom. Both bedrooms and the living room all have a TV and DVD player. Come to relax and enjoy this comfortably decorated condo.
Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Ongoing construction and amenity closures are to be expected. Construction is predicted to be completed Spring 2026.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 4.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great choice!

This place was in the perfect location with everything easily accessible. Staff was friendly as well. The beach was clean and just a few steps from the back of the condo. Made for a great vacation.

We were put on a floor that was supposed to be closed for cunstruction. I had to get code inforcement involved to finally get moved somewhere else.

Furniture Outdated

The furniture in the living room was not clean and was outdated. The beds in the 1st room was not clean properly, clothes was left in the bed from last tenant. Mattress needs replaced in both bedrooms. Master bedroom king bed Mattress was sinking in on right and left of Mattress . Overall the view was amazing.

In need of some upkeep

Structurally the condo is fine. The room had a strange odor. May need to be sprayed for bugs as I found several in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Many outlets need attention. The chairs are stained and dirty. The room is without a broom so it’s hard to keep up with the sand collecting in the room. At night, sounds of an animal scurrying around the kitchen ceiling, bedroom vent, and entrance to the condo made you wonder. The location and views are perfect. The front desk and beach service were great as usual.

Not the best

We were disappointed in a few things in our condo. The furniture is dirty and stained. We had to cover them with sheets to sit on the chairs. There was only one frying pan and it was barely usable. There were no hot pads for getting things out of the oven. Only one towel in the kitchen was not enough. There was no guest book to write in and leave ideas for other families that come. The kitchen cabinets under the sink are damaged by water and should be fixed. There was no cable box in living room. Some mold on the air vents. A terrible smell all week that we were not able to get rid of. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The unit needs some TLC. I noticed that there are some of the same reviews from a few years ago and obviously those concerns were not addressed. The beach was beautiful and the lobby was clean, beautiful and smelled nice. The service we received from staff when checked in was very good.

Condo in need of attention

We have been vacationing at Sundestin for 30 years and this was by far the worst condo we’ve ever stayed in. There were ketchup stains on the couch and door frames. The two chairs in the living room were extremely soiled and stained. They were so stained, we had to cover them with bed sheets just to feel comfortable enough to sit on them. The throw pillows had a stench. The shower curtains were mildewed. (Vacasa did provide new ones for us during our stay). There were shower curtain rings missing in both bathrooms. The kitchen sink area smelled like a dirty mop bucket. & best of all, the side window leaked when it rained (which it rained multiple times during our stay), so we had a huge puddle in the dining area. There were also lots of gnats. We informed vacasa, and the associate at vacasa advised me to go to Walmart and buy gnat traps to get rid of them. Overall, it was a terrible experience. We will not be staying in this condo again.

Great views! Could use updates

We enjoyed our stay at Sun Destin. Its a great resort and so close to everything. Our unit 401 had a fantastic beach view! That was the highlight of the room for us. We liked the beach themed unit! We walked in though, and it just had an old, musty smell. It would have been nice to have a washer/ dryer in the unit also but we were fine. The chairs in the living room definitely needed cleaning as they were stained pretty badly. I'm surprised that had not been taken care of. We never sat on them. Overall we loved Sun Destin resort! It was wonderful! If we stay here again, we will probably look at a different unit though.

Lovely Vacation

The condo is located on the fourth floor with an amazing view of the ocean and beach. Both the living room and one bedroom have access to the balcony. The resort has a bar and grill, a heated indoor and outdoor pool, a Jacuzzi and a gift shop.

Cute beach home for a getaway

Overall, the stay was great!! The room was adorable and lived up to its expectations. The policy of no early check-in and late check out is a difficult for travelers but the staff at the Sundestin resort are extremely kind and accommodating to this. The property didn’t provide extra toilet paper or towels which was difficult for a 6 person party. The property has a pool and a private each with chair rentals. Overall, I highly recommend this property and it was great fun!

We loved this unit and the resort in general. The only downfall was not having a washer and dryer in the unit but there was one on the property if needed. Everything seemed to be fairly clean. Great View!

We enjoyed staying at our usual family vacay spot every year we get to come to Destin! This particular unit was on the 4th floor with a great view! We love staying here at Sundestin for the convenience of it being located right on the beach and on the mai strip where all the restaurants, stores, and activities are as well. It’s what keeps us coming back. Highly recommend this resort - which is very family friendly.

Great Little Condo

This place was freshly decorated. Beds were very comfortable. The only things that keep me from giving it 5 stars were that the living room furniture could use some steam cleaning and the cabinet door and drawer pulls in kitchen and baths need tightening (some kept falling off).

Good place to stay

This was our 4th time staying at this exact establishment (different units each time) and was pretty much as we always expect it to be. Beach access is super easy… one of the few places that actually allows canopies to be used. DO NOT bring your own umbrella… I have seen people make this mistake every year I’ve gone and the LDV staff will tell you take it down on the beach… Instead go to Dick’s before your trip and get a 10x10 canopy tent. Room smelt a little weird and the dishwasher was out of order during our stay but other than that everything was good!

Beautiful Destin, FL

The resort/condo has nice amenities, including an indoor and outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tub, excellent restaurant that was very convenient for lunch, and nice market. The private beach was clean and nice. The resort won't allow you to use your own umbrella. The beach was very crowded when we went. Our room looked like it has been recently updated, but there were some issues. Rust in the bathrooms, peeling paint, and the refrigerator/freezer smelled.
