Summary:
The Inn at 257 is located in the beautiful Elliotborough neighborhood. You will be FOUR short blocks from King Street. We recommend you leave your car parked in our lot and enjoy the city on foot, bicycle, or the ever convenient Uber and Lyft.

This suite has a mini fridge and microwave access.

If you've never used a European bathroom before, you're in for a treat! The sleek and modern bathroom has teak mats so you can comfortably use the open space at all times. You don't have to worry about where water goes. The entire bathroom floor is water proof.

Absolutely loved our stay! Safe location, very clean, and beautiful room. I love how the host provided anything a guest may need, like plates and silverware, makeup wipes, and several cups. We were blown away by just how much we got out of the low cost! Absolutely loved the heated pool as well. My favorite VRBO experience yet!

Great location, super comfortable king bed, luxurious sheets, charming space. A bottle of wine in the room was lovely! It’s really small, which was cozy, but literally no where to put two suitcases. The spiral staircase didn’t bother us.

so cozy and the location is awesome

Stayed here to run the Kiawah Marathon -- but did not stay long enough in this great spot -- the location is right where one would want when visiting Charleston.

my Charleston Stay

I was very happy with my stay. It was conveniently located near historical section. any questions that I had were answered right away. There was construction going on at the property on the last day of my stay it woke me up a little earlier then I planned on getting up. Courtney takes a lot of pride in the maintenance of the property. I would definitely stay again.

This is not a 10 minute walk to king st if you want to walk. Sheets were pilling and space is smaller than photos show. Other than that it’s great.

Short stay

This was convenient and safe. I appreciate the wine in the room. The only thing about staying on second floor is that it is hard to get luggage up there so if I were elderly I would not take a second floor. Bed was very comfy and updates are cute.

Charleston stay

Great small suite for a short stay. Spiral staircase as described. A little far from the action I wanted. But that said, I did walk all around town. Buses are free for seniors and free shuttles for all. So, I could have availed myself of that. Parking was great. Courtney was great with all communication.

Convenient location within walking distance of king st

We had two rooms for ourselves and our daughter and her two month old. We came to Charleston for a wedding. The property manger was wonderful and had a pack n play for the baby to sleep in. My husband wanted to watch college football while we got ready for the wedding and the tv wasn't working. They brought a new tv and hooked it up! Great customer service!!

Interesting place.

The manager (owner?) was pleasant and easily reachable. The room was nice, but small. Also, the only entrance to this 2nd floor room was a spiral staircase. It was difficult to carry luggage up to (and back down) this staircase. (And this appeared to be the only entrance - not sure what we would have done if there was a fire in the entrance way.)

A tiny little gem

This property was a tiny little gem in a great neighborhood. It was equipped with everything you could possibly want for a stay of a few days, with the exception of a few more square feet! There was really no place to sit in the room, which would have been nice. And while not a problem for us, be aware that accessing the room requires winding up a small circular staircase. An extra 50 square feet would have let me give this place five stars.

Cute and Convenient

The accommodations were as described. Lovely property. I was in suite 4 on the upper level. The spiral staircase may be difficult for some especially if you have heavy luggage but that was not an issue for us. The bed was very comfortable. Thankfully the couple staying in the suite next to us was quiet. It is a 15-20 min walk to King street but we (2 females) felt safe walking at night. Nice touches such as granola bars, coffee, wine opener and glasses and water provided. Overall it was a good value for the price and I would definitely stay again.

Clean and convenient - not great latout

Great location- good walk to great close restaurants. Only frustration was quality of WIFI- could not stream anything - host tried to rectify but said a guest unplugged router . So movies and good connectivity for internet quite poor during stay. Also there is. 3-4 inch lip/ elevation change between bathroom and bedroom which is tough to navigate on the dark! Floor lighting or some way to alert would have been great- big trip and near wipeout over this. Bathroom is also totally wet due to floor drain and shower design - good not great for the price - will not stay again

Tinyyyyyyy but nice

We didn’t realize this was a room in a house with neighboring rooms mere inches away with shared doors and staircases. It’s literally just a room and bathroom. Both are small. Maybe this is normal in Charleston idk. Wasn’t for us. We should have read the listing closer I suppose. Just a fair warning. It was clean and the host was very nice. So not here to bash anyone. Also fwiw every single window was unlocked which was very strange. And the coffee maker has some moldy bits in the water reservoir. Just needs to be cleaned every week or so likely. Overall the stay was fine.

Nice property

The property is clean and comfortable. Courtney is very thoughtful and the situation is convenient for Charleston's attractions. Parking is added perk.
