Das Haus ist groß, sehr geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die vielen kleinen "Extras" wie z.B. der schräge Lichtschacht im Wohnzimmer, der das Tageslicht, durch den Glasfussboden, auf die Vase im Keller lenkt, ist schon ein besonderer Hingucker. Auch die Terrassen, mit den vielen verschiedenen Sitz-, Relax- und Liegemöglichkeiten waren traumhaft.Der Ausblick ist einfach ein Traum und wir haben die Zeit in vollen Zügen genießen können.

Incredible villa, the best we've ever stayed in. We were 2 families of 4 and had a fantastic time at Villa Iva. The multi-level design is hugely impressive (with the finish being to the very highest standard), perfect for sunbathing by the pool, family meals on the terrace and all round relaxation - the whole area is very peaceful. Our host, Iva, was also excellent - very responsive and helpful, great communication. Excellent location too with Podgora just a short drive away for restaurants and beach, and Makarska for the supermarket and further amenities. Highly recommended and we would definitely visit again - 5 stars all round.

The most phenomenal accommodation with a view I think is unbeatable. I would never tire of the view. It’s very luxurious accommodation. Well equipped with a lovely local busy town. Perfect for exploring too. Had wonderful trips to Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Plitvice as well as coastal towns. Gorgeous coastal routes and easy to get to from the airport.

Villa Iva Podgora

Superb stay in stunning villa Iva. The villa truly lived up to the website expectations. It is in a stunning hillside location overlooking the sea & Podgora on one side & mountain range on the other. Each night we had a stunning sunset to watch. The bedrooms are all air conditioned with excellent en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is modern & well stocked and there are several locations around the villa to sit and admire the views. The pool is fabulous with a shallow & deep end, perfect for everyone to cool down in. Lastly our host Iva was available as needed but also afforded us a lot of privacy. Would highly recommend Villa Iva for a wonderful Croatia vacation. D, S & A.

Fantastisches Haus mit einem unglaublichen Blick

Das Haus hat viele Treppen das muss einem klar sein, denn es ist in den Hang gebaut.Aber der Blick ist unbezahlbar und das Haus ist wunderschön. Die vielen Ebenen sind auch wunderbar dafür geeignet um sich ein bisschen zurück ziehen zu können.

Family trip to Croatia

We absolutely loved our stay in Croatia and Iva’s beautiful home was the perfect base camp for all we wanted to do during our trip. It was our first visit to Croatia and we did not know the country at all, so finding a centrally located place to stay was key. The Makarska Riviera was full of beautiful towns with incredible views, food, and places to explore. Iva’s home was spacious and very comfortable. Each of my three children had his or her own bedroom and bath, which made them all very happy! We were thrilled with the lovely pool and beautiful terraces and landscaping. And the town of Podgora was either a quick hike down the hillside or ride in the car. There were so many great recommendations for dining and close-by activities, all provided by Iva. Thank you for an amazing first trip to Croatia! We hope to be back soon.

Lovely Villa

Really lovely, clean villa in a stunning location however you need a car to drive into Podgora where parking is very difficult, especially in August, as it's very busy. We had a couple of issues with coffee machine not working, no gas for the BBQ and no parasols but this was dealt with quickly by Iva although one small parasol by the pool was not enough (5 of us huddled under it at one point). There was a lack of cups and glasses especially when 7 people are drinking water all day (possibly only around 7 or 8 glasses in total) and there were no plastic cups or glasses for the pool area which was dangerous, especially with children. We had to buy single use plastic cups to use by the pool which is really bad for the environment. On a positive note though the villa was very spacious and comfortable, including the beds and sofas and having an en-suite to each bedroom was just brilliant. I would recommend this villa, just needs a few more things in the kitchen.

Beautiful views in Podgora

The house was amazing, well maintained with absolutely gorgeous views. Appears exactly like in the pictures. There was alot of space for both our families and a beautiful outdoors area.

Perfect

This Villa is spectacular. From the location to the views. Podgora is a gem of a town and a 5 min easy drive. It is not too remote and Makarska is also very close by. Both are worth a visit. We took a day trip to Dubrovnik (2 hrs) and Split is just over an hour north. Perfect trip! I wish we could've stayed longer. A few kitchen items were missing (spatula for the grill and wine opener). The drip coffee maker was not working which would have been nice.

The house was fantastic! Very nice pool area and the ocean view is spectacular. A good house to share with family and friends since all the bedrooms have their own bathroom so it’s easy to also have privacy.

Absolutely Fabulous!

This property made our experience in Croatia exceptional. We traveled with 4 adults and 4 kids and it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool area was great and perfect for all of us. The views were just out of this world. Very clean and Iva was a wonderful property manager. She was available to answer all our questions. We can't wait to come back.

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit noch beseerer Aussicht & Lage. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Bei Fragen konnte man sich immer an Iva oder Hauskräfte vor Ort wenden und es wurde sofort geholfen. Zusammengefasst hätte es nicht besser sein können. Ob Haus oder Service. Top Lage, schöne Aussicht, toller Pool und ein rundum luxuriöses und sauberes Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Traumhaus mit Traumblick

Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum. Es bietet locker Platz für 8 Leute. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und sehr groß. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt durch und durch genossen und einen schönen Urlaub verbracht. Mit das beste an der Villa war natürlich der wahnsinns Ausblick! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Super schöne Villa mit vielen kleinen Details, top Ausstattung und atemberaubenden Ausblick

Wir kommen gerne wieder diese Villa ist ein absoluter Traum und schön an eine Bergstraße gebaut. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und der Pool ein absoluter Traum. Von der Terasse mit Außenküche kann man über das ganze Dorf schauen bis aufs Meer, unbeschreiblich. Auch der Service ist super das der Pool vom sympathischen Hausmeister täglich sauber gehalten wird. Was man bemängeln könnte is das langsame Internet dort, aber der Ausblick, Pool und die Villa entschuldigt das auf alle Fälle. Wir kommen wieder...

Ein Paradies in Kroatien

Eine wunderbare Ferienvilla, sehr gepflegt und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer und die vorgelagerten Inseln, jeden Abend wundervolle Sonnenuntergänge von den vielen zauberhaften Terrassen aus zu sehen. Viele schöne Sitzplätze mit viel Schatten und das Allerbeste, ein großer gepflegter Pool. Jederzeit stand Iva für uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sogar die Sonnenschirme wurden bei Gewittergefahr abgebaut. Sehr schöne Strände mit kristallklarem Wasser in der Nähe und auch der Ort Podgora hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles perfekt, es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
