This 2bd/2ba, ocean view condo is located in a quiet section of Myrtle Beach. Enjoy all the comforts of home in this recently renovated condo at the beach. This unit comfortably accommodates 6 guests with 1 king and 2 queens.

This 1st floor, ocean view unit, is in a mostly owner occupied high rise condominium in the Arcadian Dunes section of Myrtle Beach. This beautifully renovated unit has updated bathrooms and kitchen. Each bedroom has a large flat screen TV, ensuite bath and balcony access.

The place on the first floor was amazing and it was right by the steps so we never used the elevator except for when we first got there.The room is very big and accommodating for us. The 2 queen beds were great for our 6 foot kids!Not a fan of all the rules with the key cards but I guess it's needed for security but seems excessive.

Close to grocery stores, golf,shopping, everything we needed. When anything needed taken care of the rental company sent some one right away. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this condo at Maison Sur Mer for the past five years and have always appreciated the opportunity to return each year. Unfortunately, during this year’s stay, we really started to notice that the unit seems to be falling behind in terms of upkeep and maintenance.There were several smaller issues throughout the condo, including a loose toilet paper holder, a toaster that did not work, a kitchen cabinet door that was off the hinges, limited cooking pans and utensils in the kitchen, a broken patio door handle, an outlet in the master bedroom that did not work, and ants in the kitchen. Individually, these may seem minor, but together they gave us the impression that the condo has not been receiving the attention or updating it needs.We truly do not mean this review to come across as overly critical. We have stayed here faithfully for five years and have many great memories from our stays. We are sharing this because we hope the owners will take it as constructive feedback and consider putting some attention back into the unit for future renters.Ultimately, we have decided that this will be our last year staying in this particular condo. We were able to find a much more updated condo at Maison Sur Mer for the same week at a lower price. With that being the case, it is difficult for us to justify continuing to rent a unit that is noticeably more dated and in need of maintenance.We sincerely appreciate the owners allowing us to enjoy their condo over the past five years, and we hope this feedback helps them improve the property for future guests.

Maisons Sur Mer vacation

Condo was absolutely amazing. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The view was great and the beach was awesome. The pool and pool bar and restaurant were so convenient. Loved that it had security. Had a great time with family and would definitely stay here again and again.

Beach Trip 2

It fit our needs. Stayed there before but on the 15th floor. Beach was crowded and didn’t seem that way last year. Was part of appeal!

Property was beautiful, but a little too fancy for a beach trip. We wanted to use the rec room but it was a little frustrating that we could only get the parts for one game at a time

Meh - Subpar stay

Lots of disappointments here from antiquated decor/furnishings to an unbearable check in process including multiple 20+ minute drives to the property management office. TV didn’t power on, 1st floor condo so view was mediocre. We stay in myrtle, like this building, but wouldn’t recommend this unit.

Over the top Security Guards

Security at checkin is ridiculously obnoxious. We're not allowed to use stairs for room access coming or going. Everything is locked down. There's no freedom on the property. None. Pool is built on the north side of property, meaning there's no sun and total shade by 2pm. Again, ridiculous. Too many elderly living there walking with handicap walkers. Reprimanded by security for backing in parking space and another time i didn't have my shirt on coming from beach. Should change hotel name to NoFunZone Inn. Room was nice and clean, good location to restaurants. Won't be back.

We're sorry to hear you felt this resort was the "NoFunZone". This property is a private condominium building and most of the units are owner occupied. The 24 hour security onsite is there to maintain a quiet and peaceful environment for everyone. While there are several onsite rules that are enforced, all rules and regulations are sent at the time of booking so that everyone is aware of the rules prior to arrival.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Their on site maintenance is there for plumbing. That property is on a monthly pest control for the building and each unit.

Masions Ser Mer

It was 78 degrees and hotter in the room. Had to buy a fan and pull in air from the hallway to cool down. Couldnt listen to music by the pool, people were snobs . I dont reccomend this place to anybody. Room was beautiful but so hot it was miserable. Had problems with one person running her mouth and security did nothing about it. Not a place i will ever go again. U couldnt even get door dash to your room. U had to go to lobby to get your food. Too many rules to follow. Cant wear tanktops in their dining area or hats. Cant walk in building, from pool without being covered up. Its vacation. Let people walk in their swimsuits from the pool to their room. Their HOT HOT ROOM!!

Thanks for the feedback. We would have sent maintenance right away to check on the AC, had we known there was an issue. This location is mostly owner occupied, as the listing states, so there are several rules in place to make it a peaceful living and vacationing environment. Onsite rules are disclosed at the time of booking.

Nightmare vacation

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Air condition fan never stopped! A broken fan! Ran continuously! We knew the fan wasn’t working right. Rental company sent over a maintenance person and he couldn’t help. The building maintenance came and he acknowledged it wasn’t working right. He wrote in his notes it was. The rental said if they sent HAVAC over and they said it was ok that we would have to pay for the call. They came and something was wrong with it. No apology from the realty company. Very unprofessional. We decided to just go home rather than change locations. We were charged for 2 days and all fees. Over $650 for 2 miserable days!

Girls weekend at the beach! Our 24th year!

Two girlfriends and I stayed at Masion Sur Mer many years ago before we started visiting Isle Of Palms. Our condo was very comfortable. We enjoyed the convivence of the restaurant. The food was great and reasonably priced. Also, we also were appreciative of the security that the building provided. Will definitely be returning.

Comfortable and clean

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was a beautiful condo with a view of the ocean. The condo was very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. We did not have any issues. Hurricane Ian was quite the experience, but we felt very safe in the building! The staff in the building are very helpful and kind. I hope to return again.
