One word - Excellent
The house, the area, closest walking distance beaches, furniture, space (house and garden), quality of equipment were all so perfect for a comfortable relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. The pictures speak for themselves, but I can't over emphasise how comfortable and spacious this place was for we two and would have been if there were six of us. Vincent & Sandrine were excellent communicators & hosts, providing so much on arrival and responding very quickly to any questions. This holiday enabled me to improve my French, but Vincents English is so good and accurate dealing with him allowed me to be lazy, only practising in restaurants and around town. The location is quiet, relatively private and the garden was perfect for sunbathing, eating out and painting the beautiful plants. The beaches are within 10 min walk and a nice walk especially to the nearby cove to the west on an attractive costal path. The other more commercial beach had more action such as volley ball, but we fell in love with the more private cove. Concarneau is interesting with plenty of good and reasonably priced restaurants, shops and weekly markets approximately 25 min walk along the scenic promenade or 5 min car ride. Also close is one of our favourite hypermarkets in France "E.Leclerc' (5 min drive) where well priced quality food and goods can be acquired. There is much to see within 20 miles both along the coast and inland, but no need to use the car as so much to enjoy on the doorstep.
