Winding Down is the perfect place to enjoy the quiet side of DC. We are walking distance from the North Bay Nature Preserve & the shores of North Bay. This is the ideal location for fall & winter activities. We are surrounded by the unspoiled beauty of a cedar forest that provides a needed respite.
Enjoy cross country skiing OR snowshoeing in the trails nearby. Come in from the cold to build a cozy fire & enjoy a glass of wine.

The space:
Enjoy our Sweet Escape! This newer, open concept house has a separate master bedroom suite, guest room and loft. Our spacious kitchen and great room are perfect for any family to relax, unwind, and reconnect with each other.

We adhere to the Door County Commitment to Cleanliness and Safety by cleaning and disinfecting according to CDC guidelines.

Guest access:
Guests have access to the entire house. During the Summer we provide 2 kayaks and 4 beach cruisier bicycles. During the Winter we provide 4 pairs of snowshoes.

Other things to note:
Pet fee $100/stay. All pets must be indicated when making the reservation.
