The Hillside Hideaway is the perfect spot to enjoy all of Door County. The house is tucked into a wooded setting and offers a lannon stone patio with Solo Stove firepit and classic Adirondack chairs to enjoy a Door County evening. You will only be a 5 minute walk to everything downtown Sister Bay has to offer. The house if furnished with midcentury modern furniture and decor to compliment the style of the home. Guests will enjoy new beds, linens and towels and kitchen is ready for cooking.

Such a great location to town for fall fest. This was our third time staying at this house and we have loved each year we spent. We love the king mattress, currently trying to order one :)

Wonderful stay!

Perfect place in Sister Bay to walk downtown to the shops and restaurants and enjoy Door County. The house was equipped with everything we needed, beds were comfy, made it so easy to relax.

Perfect location!

The house is a reasonable drive to anything on the Peninsula you might want to see either North or South, and an easy walk to Sister Bay shops and restaurants. Yet it feels tucked away on a quiet street with plenty of space and privacy. We had a great time and would definitely book again!

Great layout and great location

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at the Wooded Sister Bay retreat. I liked the layout with the large primary bedroom off of the dining room with its own bathroom on one side and our college aged kids each had their own room on the other side of the house. One morning my daughter and I walked into town to shop while the boys golfed as it was located super convenient to town. The kitchen had all the basics to prepare a meal and we cooked dinner 2 nights there. We appreciated the big bag of ice left in the freezer! All of the furniture seemed newer and in good shape, although maybe like Wayfair quality. The beds were very comfy and we all slept well. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Loved your home, had everything we needed! Location to town is excellent, we walked into town several times a day. Leaving a pots crib and high chair for us was so thoughtful and useful!

Great location

We have been coming to DC every summer for many years, but this was our first time staying at this location. We chose this property due to the walkability to town, year being just a bit off the main drag. Location was great, house was lovely, clean and stocked with everything we needed. We did not need to reach out to management, but that was because they provided everything we needed in advance of our arrival. Overall great stay!

Perfect for kids

Our stay was wonderful! We loved the set-up of the house. It was great for small children. We utilized the high chair, pack n play, kids toys, kids kitchenware, etc during our stay. The location was great - within walking distance of town and quiet for our little ones. We liked that the primary bedroom was separate from the smaller rooms where our kids slept. We didn’t feel like we had to tiptoe around after 7pm. Would highly recommend!!

Relaxing Holiday Weekend

Enjoyed a quiet family weekend w our pups in Door County. Hillside Hideaway was a wonderful place to stay!! Kitchen is well stocked. Bedrooms are spacious. Lots of room to spread out throughout the house. Beautiful treed backyard. Walking distance to water and downtown Sister Bay. We’ll be back!!!

So close to everything in Door County. Loved that we could walk to town (and the dog park) in SisterBay. Beds were super comfortable.

Spacious family home base with great views

Very great jumping off point for a fun visit to door county. Walkable to Sister Bay main downtown and beach. Clean place, great amenities for a baby/kids, and lovely views. Highly recommend if you can afford since it is pricey.

Great weekend getaway

Exactly as advertised! Location was great and walkable to the main downtown of sister bay. Place was clean and ready for us. Perfect amount of space for our group. The games and toddler toys, dishware was a great added bonus! Great communication with the host.

Clean, comfy, quiet, and great location

Very nice home with everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Good showers, soft towels, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Lovely wooded area walking distance to Sister Bay’s main street. But far enough away from all the hubbub!

Great Location and Great Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. We loved that the house is walkable to everything in Sister Bay. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds very comfortable and it’s in a quiet neighborhood. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog as well.

Hidden gem!

Hidden Hideaway was perfect for our family to spend 5 days exploring Door County. The home was spacious enough for 3 kids (age 8-15), clean and well maintained. The house has beautiful updates, lovely decor and located on a beautiful wooded site. Walking distance to the Sister Bay Marina to watch the sunsets, and a close drive to all that Door County has to offer. Highly recommend!

We purchased this home in September of 2022 and we absolutely love how close we are to everything Sister Bay has to offer. We have updated the furniture and layout but have kept the charm of this great house! Door County is full of amazing towns with beautiful people and history, great restaurants, stunning scenery and all the art, theatre, and outdoor activities you could ever want.
