Lazy G #1 Honeymoon Suite

A gorgeous suite located on the property of the Lazy G Wedding Chapel and Cabin Rental venue,. The property is a 1200 acre farm with two caves, a covered bridge, lodge, outdoor fire place (communal), and patio area. Honeymoon Suite has custom made king size bed with chest seating, sitting area, dining table, fireplace, sauna, Jacuzzi Tub, satellite television, walk-in shower, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. A Charcoal grill is provided. Charcoal is not provided. The Honeymoon Suite is located adjacent to the outdoor fireplace.

Directions:

Once on Greenbriar Cove Road follow the scenic route down a mountain. Once to the bottom of the mountain proceed with caution as there are two white dogs that love laying in the road. Proceed past the green shop on your left and around the curve.

You will see a white wedding chapel sign on your right and the Lazy G rock entrance on your left. Turn left, and follow this scenic drive approximately 1.5 miles to the back of the property. You will pass Courteney’s Cave and the Buffalo Rock on your left.

Continue straight, you will then pass Long Neck cabin on your right, Wilson cabin on your left, and the covered bridge on your right.

Cabin 3 “Creek Side” is on the right immediately past the covered bridge. Followed by cabin 4 “Creeks Edge” and the duplex cabins 5&6/7&8. Just past the duplex cabins you will see the little red school house.

**If you rented cabin 9 “the butternut” you will take a right just before the red school house and follow that drive past the sawmill, caretakers facilities and barn. Your cabin is on the hill on the left. **

Otherwise, continue straight past the red school house and barn with the fire truck. Drive onto the concrete, past the garage with the gulf sign, past the office, up the hill to the lodge. The Bridal (#2) and Honeymoon (#1) Suites are on the left side of the lodge. Park anywhere near the old cabin on the left. Then follow the concrete walkway behind the outdoor fireplace past the fountain and up the stairs, just past the pavilion go up onto the deck to your right. The Bridal suite is on the left and the Honeymoon suite on the right. The two are separated by an 8” wall. Enjoy your stay.

My husband and I thought we were getting a private place, but when we arrived there were a few people and a couple of children sitting on the deck right in front of the entrance to our cabin (that was not a cabin). The details did not say that the bridal suite was right next to the honeymoon suite (which was what we rented.) The door was unlocked and we could tell someone had been sitting on the bed, there was dead bugs and dirt on the floor, the bathroom garbage was not emptied. The worst was when we sat down on the wood it was all greasy and we sat down on it getting grease on our pants.

Communication with Owner was great

The cabin was clean with so many cool features. Even with the power being out upon arrival (due to a tree falling, not owners fault) the stay was extremely enjoyable. Owner was very responsive when we needed information. Would absolutely recommend this place and stay again. Beautiful location.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I stayed at this property for a weekend for our 17th anniversary. Everything was nice and clean (minus the what we assumed were dirty towels that were left in the sauna) and as described. We loved that it was out in the middle of nowhere. We have already talked about going back one day.

Honeymoon suite stay

We chose this room for the amenities (jacuzzi tub, sauna, etc.) and it was as described. The tub, sauna and shower were nice features. With the price being as high as it was, and another required damage insurance fee on top of that, I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room (dirt in the bed, little pieces of confetti on the floor). All the while, we were still required to take out the trash and strip the bed, while also were given an envelope encouraging us to tip the housekeeping staff. It was a little much for me.

Nice overnight getaway

We had a great stay. It's about 30 min away from any places to eat, so you might want to bring your own breakfast. It needs better blinds or a way to turn off the lights that shine in the front. Everything for coffee except the actual coffee. It probably just missed getting restocked.

Honeymoon suite

Room was exactly as described,beautiful with alot of mirrors. If looking for a cabin excluded by yourself this isnt it.Its above a bar/restaurant with another room beside it. Its way out in middle of nowhere sorta like an old town with a church.Beautiful place and would definitely go back.

Wonderful experience

This has been one of the most pleasant places I have ever stayed. The property was beautiful and it felt like you were in an old town or a movie set. It was very private and so relaxing. I wish I knew someone that was getting married because I would definitely recommend.

10 year honeymoon

Once we got there it was dark out, slightly hard to navigate in the dark. I truthfully creeped myself out. But once we got it figured out it was super cozy! The bed was comfortable. Everything was super clean.
