Westford Haven

WHEN WE BEGAN THINKING ABOUT RENTING OUR CABIN we weren’t sure how we could do it. We are an hour and a half away and have a bnb in our main home as well. Traveling to the cabin after each guest was not feasible for us. To make it work we ask guests to bring their own bedding and towels and to please leave the cabin as you found it. We have been so very fortunate that over the past 12 years we have been renting our guests have been super respectful.

This is a two bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom cabin with a loft with a queen size bed and futon. The two bedrooms are located on the first floor and have a queen and full size bed. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster and coffee maker. Dishes, pots, pans and utensils are included. NO LINENS ARE PROVIDED. There is a screened in front porch and a deck off of the loft. There is a smart TV and VCR/DVR player with many movies to select from. There are a set of stairs that take you to the loft and deck.

QUIET, SECLUDED IN THE WOODS. The backyard is a mountain for climbing with a running brook to lull you to sleep at night. We are located on a beautiful seasonal road great for walking on.

WIFI IS NOT THE BEST. WE HAVE FIBER OPTIC THROUGH OTSEGO ELECTRIC WHICH WORKS GREAT WITH AT&T, OTHER CARRIERS DON’T WORK THE GREATEST. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO WORK FROM OUR CABIN I CAN NOT PROMISE THE BEST CONNECTION.

This is the perfect location to ESCAPE and UNPLUG! Five miles from Cooperstown, Glimmer Glass State Park, Baseball Hall of Fame, plenty of shopping ans restaurants. We are 15 minutes (11 miles) from Dreams Park

Great place to decompress and enjoy the wilderness. We stayed here during the time that my son was at Cooperstown.

Beautiful getaway while in Cooperstown for baseball

We loved our stay here! This place is Beautiful! So peacful!! Our children had such a great experience!! The boys even wanted to leave the baseball buncks to come and stay here! I will most definitely book here again!!

Beautiful location. The only downside was the mice poop in all of the draws and on dishes. We washed everything before using because we ate in all the time. Otherwise we really enjoyed the relaxing part away from the baseball field.

Amazing cabin

Love this cabin. Property is located in woodsy area with creek running through yard, fire pit and picnic table. Perfect size for our family and large enough for two! Wi-Fi worked well. Completely remote if you want privacy. Deer everywhere. Would definitely recommend.

Great property. Super quiet. WiFi works great. Verizon doesn’t work at all if you want to make calls. Definitely would stay again. Washer and dryer were awesome. Lovely experience in the woods!!!

Restful week in the woods

Excellent, secluded spot. Had great weather. Daily walks, reading, painting and relaxing. Nothing to want except maybe some additional reading lights in the living room. We should’ve scheduled two weeks. We hope to come back again.

The property is perfect for unplugging and relaxing. Very cozy with multiple seating areas and 3 comfortable beds. Owners were great about communicating!

Secluded Retreat

My friend and I had an amazing time at this private, cozy cabin in the woods. Everything was spotless and we found everything we needed in the home to cook all of our meals. Endless hours were spent by the fire next to the creek roasting hot dogs and talking over our writing projects. We spent afternoons on the upstairs porch overlooking the creek working on our projects and enjoying the peace and quiet. The owners were wonderful and we are thankful for their generousity in sharing Westford Haven with us. The only negative thing I have to say about the whole experience was the lack of cell service in and around the home. It made it hard for me to run my business while away but there is nothing to be done about that and we got lots of exercise walking down to the main road to get a signal. If you have Verizon Wireless you may have the same issues as we did. Although, this may be the perfect way to get your family off of their phones and spend some time together! I highly recommend Westford Haven and hope to return again next year.
