Everything went very smoothly. We enjoyed our stay and the kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. The window air conditioning units cooled off the bedrooms wonderfully. The only thing we were disappointed about is the comfort of the beds.

Great spot on the lake!

We were happy with our stay on the lake! There were plenty of options on site with two kayaks a canoe and a rowboat, plus a dock to help get on the water.

The location on the lake is perfect for families. The host provided access to rowboats, kayaks and a canoe, which was great for me and my sons. There was a firepit and large deck with grill, which we didn’t really use since the weather wasn’t in our favor, but definitely a bonus to have these amenities. The house was very clean and the owner was very friendly and responsive. We had two minor issues while there, the grill was out of propane and the shower wasn’t working. I contacted the owner and she responded and had the issues rectified very quickly. She is very responsive and made sure we had what we needed. One thing to note is that the water in the house is pumped in from the lake so you can’t drink it. The owner provided plenty of bottled spring water and we used that for cooking and brushing our teeth. The only negative I would say is that the beds were not very comfortable. Everytime my fiancé moved, I felt like I was bounced all over and the frames seemed like they were on their last legs. Overall though, we were very happy with our stay and with the house and the owner.

Summer rental for Cooperstown Dreams Park

This was an easy location to get to and from the Dreams Park for games. It’s quite picturesque, we had fun taking row boat out and fishing. Also took several walks, it’s a beautiful area. The cabin was clean and checkin process easy.

Cooperstown Dreamspark

The cottage was wonderful! We stayed for the week while my grandson was playing baseball at Dreamspark. The cottage was relaxing and a great getaway from the hustle and bustle at the park. Coming home to a beautiful lake and taking in the views from the deck was the best! Betty, our host was wonderful and checked in occasionally to be sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful!

The cottage was very clean and spacious. The deck faced the lake and we saw eagles fly by. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It’s in a quiet area but not a far drive to many things.

Lakeside Rejuvenation

Had a great weekend at Lake Canadarago and got rejuvenated prior to the school year starting! It was great being able to have a campfire and walk the dock watching our family run and play!

5 day getaway

Brought our 6 yr old twin grandchildren for a little getaway that is close to home. Beautiful views from the large deck. Camp is very comfortable and well equipped. Lake was very shallow off of dock. Kids did a little swimming but lake bottom is very mucky. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location

My family and I stayed here for 6 days or my son’s baseball tournament at Dreams Park Cooperstown. Air conditioning in each bedroom made it comfortable. Being on the lake was very nice. Only complaint was the shower. The shower head popped of and made it very hard to use.

Loved the lake house!

The epitome of an old fashioned lake house with room for lots of people. Some might consider it a bit weathered, we considered it lake house charm. We spent a lot of time on the deck, which is very large with lots of seating. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and eating. I hope to return sometime soon!

Best fishing ever!!!

The lake and the view were absolutely beautiful. Kayaks, a boat and canoe were provided with life jackets. Weather was unseasonably cold during the nights and mornings. House does not have a heating system but there were plenty of blankets and comforters. Fire pit was such a nice addition for the evenings. Hope to revisit in the future

Not a bad stay its a nice place me and the kids had fun! There was some garbage under one of the beds there were no garbage bags to replace full bags And the water is not potable! I would stay again knowin i would have to bring more things than. What i did. Was closer to a hotel stay than a vacation Property location was very nice and overall was a good stay

Great Stay at Duckaway2

Thank you for an amazing week of fishing, boating, grilling, campfires and baseball! Duckaway2 is an easy 40 minute drive to Cooperstown All Star Village in Oneonta and provided my family a great base of operations for the week. The homeowner was great to work with and handled any issues promptly. For instance, when we notified the homeowner that the oven was not working, she had the old oven removed and a new one installed the very next day. The homeowner even drove over a fresh propane tank after 9pm when we were late night grilling after a long day at the baseball fields. We'll definitely be back to Duckaway2 when our little guy comes to town for his week at Cooperstown!
