Superb Provençal villa with all comforts, redecorated and re-equipped in 2020 with very large swimming pool, pétanque court, billiards, cinema screen, panoramic view...

Detailed description:
General equipment: recent, modern and cozy decoration - reversible air conditioning in all rooms - WIFI - large sheltered south and west terraces - Shutters in all rooms - Alarm - Electric gate - Garden with trees...

Ground floor:
- Entrance with WC and storage
- Equipped kitchen (American fridge with integrated mini bar and touch dispenser, induction, built-in grill and fryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso, food processor, etc.) open to living room/living room.
- Living room/Living room with 8-seater sofa, wall-mounted smart TV (Canal + app, Netflix), video library, large square dining table for 8 people. The living room is transformed into a cinema with its giant screen integrated into the ceiling and its top-of-the-range Focal 5.1 sound system.
- Parental suite, 160 bed, dressing room, smart TV (Canal+ app, Netflix...), terrace access, bathroom with bath for 2 people (no balneo jets) with built-in TV, XXL shower, double sink, WC, hair dryer... .

- The villa is located in a small hamlet (quiet without being isolated) in Callas, a picturesque village in the Var in Dracénie. 2 mins from the village shops and 10 mins from Draguignan, 15 mins from Le Muy and the motorway, 20 mins from Les Arcs TGV station and 1 hour from Nice and Marseille airports.
- Beaches (30 mins): Fréjus, St Aygulf, les Issambres, Ste Maxime (crossing to St Tropez / Pampelonne beaches). On the road to the Verdon gorges (“perched villages”), Sainte Croix lake (45 mins), Pennafort gorges and its gourmet restaurant (5 mins), St Endréol golf course (15 mins), Terre Blanche golf course (25 mins)
- 45 min away: Saint Cassien lake, golf courses (Brignoles, Esterel etc), Grasse, Cannes and other tourist sites on the French Riviera

A lovely week in this villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool area is fabulous and it was heated to a great temperature for this time of year. Our grandchildren played happily in it from morning till night. The bedrooms are of a good size, the master suite being very large. The kitchen was well equipped and there is both a nice indoor seating area as well as a lovely shaded terrace. The gas barbq at this property is amazing. The only thing we would comment on is the fact that the jacuzzi bath in the en-suite doesn’t work. It wasnt a big issue to us but for some it might be.All in all, a fabulous week spent in a lovely property. We definitely would return.

Property up unmade road would benefit from name of property on the entrance gate. Otherwise everything was fantastic, well equipped villa,especially the kitchen. Great cinema projection, although we didn’t use it! Pool and area everything one would wish for. Peter

Nice but….

2 stars deducted due to the following:•Personal contact is only available in French; no one speaks English.•The charging station for electric vehicles is not on site, despite expectations.•Check-in is strictly at 4 PM. Even after a two-day journey, arriving at 3:15 PM and informing all relevant parties that you are waiting at the gate, the access code is only sent via the app at exactly 4 PM.•The hot tub is beautiful but was not working. (This was mentioned in the latest arrival documents.)•The air conditioning in the living room started leaking on the first evening. (It was fixed the following day.)•The game room is intended for children and not functional.Overall, the experience was not what I’m used to from houses in this price category. That said, the house itself did match the description.I hope this feedback can be taken into consideration, and I would appreciate it if compensation for these inconveniences could be discussed.

Nous sommes désolés que la villa n’ait pas répondu à toutes vos attentes.*Nous sommes français et ne parlons pas anglais mais il y a une personne qui parle anglais à la conciergerie.* L'annonce indique «borne électrique» cependant c’est précisé «pas de borne électrique mais possibilité de se brancher sur une prise domestique accessible». Désolés de la confusion.*Dans le règlement, le check in est prévu à partir de 16h. C'est possible avant. Dans tous les cas, il est demandé de contacter la conciergerie avant pour l’organisation. Nous envoyons ses coordonnées sur VRBO 8 jours avant. A défaut, nous vous contactons. En l’absence d’informations de votre part avant l’arrivée, nous avons fait au mieux et vous avez pu rentrer dans la villa dès 16h.*Le jacuzzi n’est plus fonctionnel et pas réparable malheureusement. Nos excuses pour ce problème. Nous avons modifié le descriptif de l’annonce et informons les locataires.*Nous vous réitérons nos excuses pour l’eau qui coulait d’un des climatiseurs. Nous avons fait notre maximum pour vous dépanner en moins de 24h. Afin d’éviter les problèmes, un entretien annuel est fait par un professionnel. Il a été réalisé un mois auparavant. Le tuyau d’évacuation a été mal replacé au niveau de la sortie.*Vous trouvez sur place tous les accessoires pour les jeux.Vous pouvez nous informer en cas de manque éventuel, vous apportons avec plaisir balles, flechettes...Il s'agit d'un équipement de loisirs pour tous (adultes/enfants),pas de "jouets". Eine tolle Zeit!

Die Lage der Villa ist fantastisch, ruhig und viel Natur. Die Besitzer hielten guten Kontakt zu uns, schon sofort nach der Buchung. Vor Ort gab es einen herzlichen und freundlichen Empfang durch das Personal. Auch während des Aufenthaltes waren sie bei Fragen jederzeit bereit unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Haus ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und hat einfach alles. Der Pool war immer gut temperiert, was wir sehr genossen. Super war der große Bereich, in dem sich die Kinder aufhalten konnten, dass hat man nicht oft, ist aber ein Muss für einen entspannten Urlaub. Wir hatten tatsächlich auch lange danach recherchiert. Für ein bisschen mehr Schatten für die Kinder (Der Poolbereich hat tatsächlich ganztägig Sonne) hatten wir zusätzlich ein Sonnensegel über diesen Bereich angebracht. Ansonsten kann ich mich der Beschreibung auf dem Portal nur anschließen. Ein perfekter Ort zum Ausruhen oder zum Start einer Erkundung der Provence.Annette und Familie

Villa Callas – ist ein echtes Juwel – wir haben es sehr genossen

Die Villa Callas war für uns einfach bezaubernd. Schon der herzliche Empfang durch Melissa – inklusive eines Überraschungsgeschenks im Kühlschrank – hat uns sehr gefreut und einen wunderbaren Start in den Urlaub bereitet.Beim Grillieren gab es anfangs kein Gas, aber Céline war sofort zur Stelle und hat uns umgehend eine neue Gasflasche angeschlossen – der Service war wirklich erstklassig.Die überdachte Terrasse mit Grill war hervorragend ausgestattet und bot einen perfekten Platz für gemütliche Abende. Der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight: stets angenehm temperiert und wunderschön gestaltet.Auch das Schlafzimmer mit TV & Klima erinnerte an ein 5-Sterne-Hotel: Die Hand- und Badetücher waren kunstvoll gefaltet und farblich abgestimmt, liebevoll ergänzt mit kleinen Details wie Shampoo, Duschgel und Seife.In der Küche fehlte es an nichts – sogar eine Fritteuse war vorhanden! Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Eiswürfelspender, der bei den hohen Temperaturen Gold wert war. Am Pool gab es eine Aussendusche sowie eine perfekt ausgestattete Poolbar mit Kühlschrank und Geschirrspüler – einfach rundum durchdacht.Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Das Auto stand tagsüber in der prallen Sonne, was bei der Hitze etwas mühsam war beim Einsteigen. Ein Carport oder eine Garage wäre das i-Tüpfelchen gewesen. Wir hatten traumhaftes Wetter – wenn auch sehr heiss – und konnten den Pool an diesen Tagen besonders geniessen.Ein echtes Highlight – wir empfehlen es voller Überzeugung weiter!“

Merci Carole pour cette belle appréciation. Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour. Nous comprenons votre remarque pour les véhicules au soleil. Pour trouver de l'ombre, il faut coller la voiture à la haie en haut dans l'allée ou la stationner en bas, à gauche juste après le portail en entrant. Mais ce n'est pas très pratique, nous en convenons. Vous êtes des hôtes très respectueux et très sympathiques. C'est avec grand plaisir que nous vous accueillerons une prochaine fois si vous revenez dans le secteur!

Phantastisch

Wir (zwei befreundete Familien mit Teenagern) suchten ein Haus, von dem aus man Ausflüge sowohl an die Côte d‘Azur, als auch in die ländliche Provence starten kann. Zum Glück sind wir auf dieses Landhaus gestoßen. Die Bilder im Internet haben uns sofort gefallen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm. Bei der Ankunft waren wir bereits vom Anblick der Villa überwältigt. Unsere Erwartungen durch die Bilder wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Das Anwesen liegt sehr geschützt und ist top gepflegt. Das Highlight war der Pool. Er ist sehr groß, sauber und vor allem sehr angenehm beheizt, so dass man Ende Mai wirklich wunderbar darin schwimmen konnte. Basketball, Pollbillard und Dartscheibe sowie der große TV im Wohnzimmer wurden gerne von unseren Kindern genutzt. Sicher ist das Heimkino auch sehr attraktiv. Bei uns waren Wetter und Terrasse jedoch einfach zu schön. Essen gehen in der Nähe des Grundstücks ist zwar schwierig, aber auch nicht notwendig. Die wunderschöne französische Landküche ist top ausgestattet und der große Gasgrill reicht völlig aus. In Callas (ca. 6 Minuten entfernt) gibt es nur einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen, der recht teuer ist, und eine gute Bäckerei. Für Großeinkäufe muss man etwas weiter fahren. Achtung: die Zufahrt zum Haus ist sehr steinig und holprig! Erst bei der Abnahme erfuhren wir, dass der Müll nicht nur getrennt, sondern auch selbständig entsorgt werden muss. Sollten wir nochmal Urlaub in der Provence machen, dann nur in diesem Haus!

Nous sommes ravis que la villa, ses équipements et son environnement vous aient donné entière satisfaction. Merci pour vos remarques constructives. Au village il y a une bonne boulangerie et une petite supérette effectivement qui sert plus pour du dépannage, même si on y trouve à peu près de tout. Pour trouver un hypermarché, il faut faire environ 12 km. Vous avez raison, l’accès à la villa se fait par un chemin privé qui n’est pas goudronné comme c’est souvent le cas dans la région… Cependant en roulant doucement et prudemment il reste praticable, même avec une voiture sportive basse, nous le faisons chaque année :) Il est vrai cependant qu’il faut faire attention. Des démarches pour le faire goudronner sont engagées , on espère que le projet pourra aboutir pour un meilleur confort... Enfin nous sommes désolés que vous n’ayez su qu’à la fin de votre séjour pour le tri et les poubelles. L’information était indiquée dans la fiche, avec les diverses informations pratiques concernant la villa, que nous vous avions transmise avant votre arrivée par la messagerie de ce site. Cette fiche est présente aussi à la villa dans la pochette des locataires . Elle est rédigée en français et c’est peut-être pour cela que l’information vous aura échappé. Nous allons penser à la faire traduire. Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau!
