Never let the water views out of sight at this third-floor vacation home featuring a 27-foot wide balcony with beautiful direct views of the ocean and the pool.

Thoughtful upgrades include new flooring throughout the living spaces, a king adjustable bed in the primary suite, and a new queen bed in the guest bedroom.

Unwind into vacation mode in the living room, then gather for special meals in the dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a new stainless steel oven and appliances, a dishwasher, and all the dishes, pots, and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. Enjoy three TVs and two DVD players for entertainment.

Family Friendly

This location was perfect for my family. With having young children and a baby travelling with us, the ease of being right on the beach and having easy access to the condo was perfect for cooling down or midday naps. The Vacasa team sent out texts to provide information as needed. Close to all the “fun” stuff to do, yet far enough away that it was still quiet at night. Would definitely recommend!

Great location

Great condo. The bed in master room is great but can feel the coils o the other bed so not so comfortable there. But would definitely stay here again. Very responsive to questions.

Okay but not the Greatest

Definitely a beach place on the decor and cabinets. Very disappointed in the beds because they are very old and you can feel the springs. My father had to sleep on the couch due his back hurting. The door entry code was very nice instead of fishing keys and cards out. The view was nice just be careful of the sliding door and remember high step.

The condo complex, maintenance staff, Vacasa staff and grounds are perfect. Easy beach access. Great view. The condo itself needs some work. The fold out coach was so uncomfortable we ended up buying a blow up mattress. The small couch isn't comfortable either. The place is clean but needs some major improvements. Tvs in room are so small and quality of furniture is cheap. The balcony is HUGE but lacks nice outdoor furniture Our friends stayed in 2 other units and their's was updated and looked fantastic. I'll do more research next time.

Needs lots of updating & cleaning

We stayed at Islander E 3007 & had much to be desired. The beds are so cheap, uncomfortable & in need of replacement. The cleanliness was horrid! The floors were so filthy we couldn’t walk around in the condo without our shoes on! The master bathroom had a very funky smell by the toilet. Causing my allergies to go into full overdrive. The master bathroom shower doesn’t drain properly. If you want a dark bedroom to sleep in, look elsewhere. They have cheap non room darkening curtains in both rooms. We had to hang a sheet & blanket over window to try & darken the room. ( there are very bright lights right outside the window of the bedroom) The living room blinds on the door wall are missing several, so don’t expect darkness in there either. Overall, the whole unit needs so much updating! Couch cushions NEED to be replaced asap. The walkover to the beach is not accessible. You have to walk to the public access to get to the beach. We informed Vacasa about our concerns the first day in. By the third day we had enough & asked to be moved to another unit. They told us there were no units available. I checked online & sure enough there was. They did give us our cleaning fee back due to conditions of unit. I will say, the beach service was great! Our beach attendant was very accommodating. And the ocean was absolutely beautiful. We drive 1200 miles every spring to come for a week to the panhandle. This was a VERY big let down on our stay to The Islander. We really expected MUCH better customer service from Vacasa!! Totally let down!

First time

This was our first time to this area of Florida and we were not disappointed. This location was awesome and easy check in. Great view and cleaner then some places I’ve stayed in the past that have been on the beach. Everyone was nice and helpful. I loved that we could get a umbrella and two chairs daily which made things easier to carry since we have a 2 year old and 11 month old. Beds were comfy; Great experience and can’t wait to come back.

It is a Budget Condo

The view is amazing, as soon as you walk in the door. Mattress are cheap and firm. Dishwasher is dated, we ended up hand washing everything. Pull out couch is no good, just took the mattress out and let the kids sleep in the floor. It is mostly clean and the pool is nice when the heat was working. Boardwalk to the beach was closed the whole time there. For the money it is fine. You are not getting top of the line but if you can adapt then you will be happy with the view. They did call a lot while I was there.

Excellent Beach View!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay right on the beach! The condo was accommodating with plenty of room and an excellent view of the beach and ocean. There are a few minor issues with the condo that I'll share via email with the managing company that I hope the owner will address. I would definitely recommend this condo and Vacasa to anyone looking for a vacation rental on Okaloosa Island!

Condo is ok, could use some work

Condo location is excellent however the unit itself needs some work. The dishwasher top drawer is broken and just falls out when you barely touch it. The stove one burner doesn’t work. The blinds over the sliding glass door don’t work so anyone sleeping on the pull out couch is up bright and early. The fan in the master is about to fall out of the ceiling when you turn it on. Unit has nice new carpet but whoever installed it never put the sliding closet doors back on properly so none of the 3 closets doors work properly. For the price it needs some work.

Kids Vacation

I loved that we were minutes away from the beach and that the check in and out was very convenient! However, there blinds missing from some windows and the patio door had blind panels missing from it and would not close for privacy! One of the windows without blinds, had curtains only and were facing the outside near the elevator! Not cool. Young girls stayed in that particular room. Surely the kind of revenue gained from rentals like these could afford new blinds? The toilets had low water pressure and one of the toilet seats fell off during the stay! This rental gave me motel vibes! I have stayed at Vacasa properties before and I must say I was very disappointed! The kids enjoyed themselves so I didn’t complain. I made the best out of it!
