As parents of a UO alum, we know how special visits to Eugene can be! Whether you're gathering for graduation, a wedding, a sporting event, a concert, or simply time together, Deer Wood Manor offers a spacious and comfortable home away from home for families and friends.

Located in Eugene's beautiful Fairmount neighborhood, you'll be just blocks from the University of Oregon, Hayward Field and Matthew Knight Arena. Walk through the neighborhood to local favorites like Beppe & Gianni's and Sweet Life—while completely avoiding event-day traffic.

And when you're ready to relax, come home to beautiful surroundings, comfortable spaces and some truly spectacular sunset views.

The Space
Deer Wood Manor was made for gathering.

The home is especially well suited for multi-generational families, multiple couples, and groups of friends traveling together. There is plenty of room to gather, but also enough space for everyone to relax and have some privacy.

Three of the four bedrooms are conveniently located on the main floor, so there are no stairs required to reach them. Two bedrooms have a private bathrooms.
The fourth bedroom is located on the lower level and can be arranged as either two XL twin beds or one California king—just let us know your preference before arrival and we'll have it ready for you.

Also downstairs is a separate full bathroom with a bathtub and a private den with a flat-screen TV and queen sleeper sofa. The den can easily serve as an additional sleeping space and is especially nice for kids or teenagers.
We have chosen comfortable beds, furniture and linens with one goal in mind: we want Deer Wood Manor to feel like home—maybe even a little better!

A Kitchen Made for Gathering

Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for morning coffee, family breakfasts, holiday meals or dinner after a day exploring Eugene.
If there's something you need and we don't have it, please ask. We want you to have everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Outdoor Living & Sunset Views

Step outside and enjoy the trees, flowers and peaceful surroundings of the Fairmount neighborhood.
The outdoor dining area and barbecue make it easy to enjoy meals together outside. And in the evening, pour a glass of wine, settle in with family or friends and enjoy one of our favorite things about Deer Wood Manor—the beautiful sunset views.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire home and backyard.
Please park in the carport only and leave the spaces in front of the garages available for guests staying in the apartment.
There is a separate two-bedroom apartment above the garage. Apartment guests have their own accommodations and their own backyard space.

Explore Eugene

One of the best things about staying at Deer Wood Manor is the location.
University & Events: The University of Oregon, Hayward Field and Matthew Knight Arena are nearby, making the house especially convenient for graduation, track events, sporting events, concerts and university visits.
Walk the Neighborhood: Enjoy a beautiful walk through Fairmount to neighborhood restaurants and local favorites, including Beppe & Gianni's and Sweet Life.

Outdoor Adventures: Explore nearby Hendricks Park, miles of riverside walking and biking paths, the McKenzie River and the area's many hiking trails, lakes and waterways.

Arts & Culture:

Visit the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, Museum of Natural and Cultural History, local farmers' markets and Eugene's famous Saturday Market.

Wine & Local Flavor:

The Eugene area is surrounded by wineries and is home to an excellent collection of local restaurants, breweries and tasting rooms.
Day Trips: Deer Wood Manor also makes a wonderful home base for exploring more of Oregon, from the McKenzie River and Cascade Mountains to the beautiful Oregon Coast.
