1710 Shelter Cove

This beautiful multi-level villa has absolutely stunning tidal marsh views that will captivate you! Although it is close to some of Seabrook Islands most popular amenities you may never want to leave. Recently renovated this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath features new flooring, shiplap, granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, tiled/wood floors, new light fixtures, stainless steel appliances and more! This is one of Shelter Cove's finest! This is a winner with one of the best views on Horseshoe Creek! Just outside your window, are some of the finest sunset views you can find! The master bedroom is on the first floor with a king size bed, large flat screen TV and attached bathroom. The bathroom has been renovated with granite countertops, tile floor and walk in tile shower. The washer/dryer are in the hallway leading to the bedroom. The master bedroom has its own covered deck and screened porch to enjoy the incredible views. From the master's deck, you can walk right down to the Shelter Cove dock just steps away. You can go crabbing, fishing, kayaking, or just sit and enjoy the view. Beadboard ceilings have been added in the master bedroom to add a more updated, coastal look.

The guest bedroom has an en suite bathroom and is on the next level for ultimate privacy. This room features two twin beds, another flat screen TV and a totally remodeled full bath with tub/shower combination.

The third level encompasses the large living area with enclosed sunroom to enjoy the spectacular view! There is plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy a movie on the mounted 55" HDTV! A lovely sectional sofa provides comfortable seating or lounging with a good book. The table and chairs in the sunroom offer a great place for playing games, doing a puzzle or enjoying your morning coffee while taking in the fabulous view. Stunning sunsets at night complete the days view!

On the top level is the dining room, kitchen and half bath. The dining room has a table with seating for 6. Shiplap is the theme on this level! The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, open shelving and more! This is a fully stocked kitchen for your enjoyment!

You won't want to miss this fabulous villa! Just steps from the front door is the neighborhood pool. Enjoy the Shelter Cove crabbing dock too!

** Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.

Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.

THIS PROPERTY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 GATE PASSES TOTAL
Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive.

Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club are included in the rent. These cards give you access to the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply).

Cancellation Policy:
For cancellation made up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows:
For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Scenic sunsets
We enjoyed a wonderful week at this property on Seabrook Island. Having stayed on Kiawah Island previously, we were curious about how this location would compare in its proximity to Freshfields and access to the beach. We were pleased to discover that the various shops at Freshfields were equally accessible while beach access was even easier (more private). Beach chairs were also provided, which we were grateful for. The property itself is breathtaking when you enter through the front door and ascend the steps into the main living area. The tall windows overlooking the river let in warm natural light from sunrise to sunset. The dining area attached to the kitchen is thoughtful as well, but we particularly enjoyed sunset meals at the table by the tall windows. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking tools you may require, and there is a Keurig for those who prefer their coffee prepared that way. We greatly appreciated the quality and reliability of the appliances. Given its proximity to the marsh, and the time of year, we were not surprised to encounter a few critters (and a salamander who visited the balcony overlooking the marsh each night, and who we were careful not to disturb). If you are not comfortable encountering wildlife or the occasional "intruder," I would not recommend staying near a river in the South in late summer/early autumn. Bring your bug spray, and your sunscreen, and enjoy a peaceful, private stay at this beautifully designed property.

Seabrook island paradise
I lived on the island years ago. I know where the beautiful marsh views are and this was selected for that and did not disappoint. The condo not only had the best views from inside, but there were also 2 porches to enjoy the incredible views. The home had all the kitchen supplies we needed, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit! Loved everything

Beautiful Stay on the Marsh
We enjoyed the property very much. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. We love the location (our second time in the these villas) on the marsh so we can watch the birds and wildlife.

Great Winter Stay
Wonderful stay in a fun house with a beautiful view of the marsh! Close to lake house and easy bike ride to fresh fields and beach! We loved it!

The views are amazing and peaceful; we enjoyed communing with nature. We would suggest the following: since this accommodates 4 adults, seating on the patio off the living room for 4 would be great. While the description refers to "levels," it would be best to describe them as flights of stairs, which they are, and getting to the kitchen from the parking lot with groceries is a bit of a haul. We were surprised to find that a fairly newly redone kitchen did not have a working ice maker in the refrigerator/freezer. Also, instruction booklets for the various appliances, perhaps in the binder, would be helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and have always loved Seabrook!
