LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION…Literally just steps from the beautiful uncrowded Tower Shores beach where you can walk for miles and miles, overlooking Delaware Seashore State Park at Indian River Inlet! This ocean block property is the perfect vacation getaway for classic beach house lovers. The charming, multi-level vacation townhome has classic beach house character and offers 4 bedrooms plus 2 baths, central air-conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, televisions, DVD, WIFI, charcoal and propane grills, and outside shower. Three awesome open decks to sit out and relax with family and friends while enjoying cool ocean breezes! Family friendly community amenities include a playground and tennis courts.

Matt’s Fish Camp, which is renowned for serving up fresh fish for lunch and dinner, is a short two block walk in the community. The crab cakes are supreme. A short four minute car ride (or a healthy 1.3 mile walk up the beach) to the Indian River Inlet in Delaware Seashore State Park gets you to Big Chill Beach Club for a unique outdoor dining experience.

From August 30, 2025, through October 31, 2025, there is a three (3) night minimum. From May 23, 2026, through September 5, 2026, there is a seven (7) night minimum in effect, with the property renting from Saturday to Saturday.

We had a great week in Bethany. The neighborhood was quiet and great for our 4 year old to scooter around in. The playground being right there was a real bonus. The beach was perfect - easy access and not at all crowded. The home was incredibly clean and comfortable - was everything we needed. We really enjoyed watching the ospreys nest in the dunes from the back balconies. We hope to come again soon!

We had a great time at Tower Shores. The unit had ample space for 4 adults and 4 children, easy access to the beach and fantastic views. We watched an osprey enjoy its breakfast one morning while we had ours! Communication with the owners was mostly good, however we would have appreciated a reminder (or upfront statement) that linens and paper products (beyond the initial rolls) were not provided. With this information in mind, we'd gladly book again!

Great Stay!

I stayed here with 4 adults and 4 children. The location is amazing! It was so nice to be able to walk back-and-forth from the beach to the condo whenever we needed to. The beach was lovely! The condo is cute and retro. The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the space was cozy and welcoming.

Beach Week 2021

The weather and location were perfect. Kids couldn't get enough of the waves and sand at the beach. The beach condo was older but clean and well appointed for all our needs. We'll be back!

Thanks, Eve. The consensus is that the beach is one of the best on the Delmarva Peninsula. The property has been in the family for decades, and though some like the vintage charm, we plan on updating and upgrading the property for our vacationers. We think you will see significant changes with each season when you return.

Great location

Great location and we love the quiet not-too-crowded beach. House was a great set-up for staying with family (3 adults, 2 kids... and still space that you could have more). Kitchen was well equipped. We were hoping to grill more, but it was pretty inconvenient to take food from kitchen around to back of property to access the grill (especially challenging when trying to keep an eye on kids). There were some issues with the house not being well cleaned when we arrived, but we appreciated the responsiveness of property manager to our concerns.

Hi, Jennifer: We appreciate your review, and all constructive criticism. We apologize that the place was not clean to your liking when you arrived. We strive to maintain a very clean home, and unfortunately, the cleaning service had engaged the services of a new supervisor who did not meet expectations. Since then, we have not had the problem, as that individual is no longer supervising the cleaning of our property between vacationers. The access to the grill in the backyard should be made much more simple by next season. The ground floor will be undergoing renovation before the next season, so access to the BBQ area should become easy. We hope you return to see the improvements that will be made to the property each season.

Uneven experience

Went for an off season holiday weekend getaway. Fairly uneven experience overall. Be aware that this is an older property. I stayed in one of these townhouses growing up in the late 70's. Many of the townhouses across the street have been knocked down and rebuilt, but these seem to be the originals. It's a nice location and mostly well taken care of. The bathrooms and kitchen are a bit dated. Positives: close to beach, view of the ocean from the master bedroom, new bed, well stocked with games for indoor entertainment. Negatives: check in, cleanliness, owner communication Check in- The owner has the WRONG address in the VRBO listing! They listed the first townhouse row and theirs is in the 2nd. In peak summer when all the units are booked up and arriving during the day, this may be easier to figure out. We arrived at night, lighting is poor, and the town house rows are clearly labeled. Didn't see the unit number in address they listed and were pretty confused. The middle town house row puts the unit numbers in a lower, less visible location than the first. We called the owner. To his credit he answered, but he wasn't terribly helpful and even told us that he didn't know the exact address. How do you not have the correct address for your listing? Cleanliness: Cleaning people must have checked out after labor day. Found food all over the floor around the top and under one of the twin beds. Refrigerator had sand in it. Freezer had left over food in it. Dishes still in dishwasher. When we emptied it, it was obvious prior people just threw the dishes in without scraping food off. Many still had caked on food that would only come off by hand scrubbing. Just what I wanted to do on my vacation, someone else's dishes! The description of the unit isn't clear on what to bring. There were no paper towels, no real handsoap in any of the bathrooms, and no laundry detergent. Communication: I reported the incorrect address and cleanliness issues in a timely fashion. It took over 24 hrs for him to respond. He never really acknowledged the wrong address in the listing. He did apologize for the cleanliness and gave us a $25 credit and a late check out. Both my wife and I sent him several follow ups on how we left the property clean, told him that we could not use the late checkout and requested the full cleaning service fee to be reimbursed instead. As of the writing of this review it has been a week and we have received no response or follow up at all.

Family Reunion

The location is centrally located between all of the family members. The rental was really nice and super close to the beach. A great time was had by all. The beach is family orientated and neighbors were very friendly. Hope to be able to have our 2nd annual Family Reunion next year!!!!!!!

We would stay again, but

All was satisfactory except the top floor master bedroom king bed partially collapsed on day 2. We tried a temporary fix that still left the bed usable by only 1 adult. Could not reach the owner via VRBO message service or by the telephone number in the check-in page. Lived with the problem all week.

Such a great find for Bethany beach. The house is in a small and quiet area and was perfect for a week long trip. Loved the proximity to the beach!

Great no fuss beachside condo

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend, and since it rained and stormed the entire weekend, we spent plenty of time indoors. But we still had a good time. There are plenty of dishes and cookware, the condo is very convenient to the beach (great for running littles back home for nap time), and convenient to, but out of the traffic of Dewey and Rohobeth. We would love to come back. The owners are very responsive, they got back to us immediately when we had issues with the internet, and then locked ourselves out! One thing I will say, there are no sheets on beds, or towels, so bring your own!

There are no busy roads to cross, being on the ocean side of the highway in a private community. We would love to have you back and hope you will be. Weekend Getaway at Tower Shores

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. We wanted to get away for a long weekend, and it was exactly what we were looking for! The home reminded us of the type of house we stayed in at the beach when we were younger and brought back great memories. The size of the home was perfect for two couples and the location was excellent. We enjoyed the private beach, had perfect weather, and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect for our family with children

The family was so kind and easy to communicate with before our stay. And the townhouse was great for our family- walking distance to beach, playground on-site, restaurant walking distance for take out. A very nice weekend!

We are so pleased you enjoyed your Mother's Day weekend at the beach property. We truly believe that Tower Shores has one of the nicest beaches on the east coast, and being in the ocean block, we find that going back and forth from the beach to the house, especially with strollers, beach toys, umbrellas, is a huge plus. Matt's Fish Camp, located in the community, is a favorite amongst locals and summer visitors. We recommend that everyone have at least one lunch of dinner at Matt's.
