Amazing location

We really enjoyed our stay. location could not be better, right infront of the sea, and with amazing views from the living room. the house was confortable and clean.

Wharekaho - a little known gem on the Corromamandel

A very comfortable stay for 3 friends, who havent been away together for over 50 years. We had the upstairs apartment with magnificent views across the Bay, wonderful sunrises etc. Wharekaho is definitely a "little piece of paradise"

What a view

A clean tidy apartment with a fantastic view, right on the beach. Would loved to have stayed for longer! Communication was easy and the surrounds excellent. Quick drive to Luke's Kitchen for awesome food too...

Absolutely perfect!

A beautiful, clean and very neat apartment that was perfect for our needs! And not to mention the stunning views! Our family members visiting from Dubai and Scotland, enjoyed our stay very much! It was perfect! Thanks very much.

A lovely stay

House is a bit dated but offered everything we needed. Would be even better if offered some beach gear such as additional towels, the use of kayaks or even bucket and spade for the kids, but I understand that's not always feasible. Location was fabulous and we have a wonderful stay, house was very clean and the tap for feet washing was well used! Every day spent on the beach and exploring, Kids and Adults loved it.

Great access to the beach.

We stayed in the upstairs apartment which was good, just a few things like windows looking out to the ocean needed clean and all the cobwebs on the balcony. The kitchen needs modernising things like microwave, non stick pans etc. Otherwise it's one of the best spots for beach access, beautiful peaceful area. Listen to ocean while you sleep.

Cyclonic views for days

This is a repeat visit, but with the drama of a cyclone and road closure. The ocean was churned up and the rain a constant reminder of the cyclone passing through but the beach, the views, the sounds and the relaxed atmosphere was worth it. We usually swim constantly but this year we drank tea and explored what the storm had left on the shore, giving us a different kind of adventure.

Lovely sea views

Pity driveway access to beach badly damaged in storm as that access with my walker was only way I could get onto the beach for a walk. Disappointing. The five hour drive from Auckland due to road closures was also disappointing.

Perfect beachfront locale

This ground floor apartment was perfect for us as it had wheelchair access and a fabulous position so close to the beach with a wonderful sea view.

Lovely tidy apartment. Right on the beach. We loved looking out at the view, and having morning strolls on the beach. House had everything we needed.

Hi, I'm from windy Wellington and have been coming to Beachsider for the last 30 years -and I couldn't imagine a better place for any length of holiday. It's our family home away from home - comfortably furnished, so you can have a relaxing time. I hope you enjoy it as much as we all do.

Beachsider is on the absolute beach front with panoramic views of the beach, Cooks Beach, Shakespeare Cliffs and the beautiful Islands of Motukorue and Moturoa. Wharekaho (or Simpson’s Beach) is one of the prime beaches in the Coromandel, it is very much a private family beach with safe swimming and anchorage and the units are situated in the best part of it!
