Didn't cook at the accomodation but seemed set up and organized. Good gas heater in living area. Very clean accomodation. The best thing is the view and walks on the beach, valium in a vista.We were asked in instructions to not use the pathway but use a grassed thoroughfare along side of house to get to entrance of our downstairs accomodation. This was I am guessing to give visitors upstairs more privacy and perhaps cut down on noise. The grass was quite long and because it was shaded it stayed wet most days. Was not fun having wet shoes and hard to pull bag through grass. We are 69 and 74 years old and very quiet neighbors. The other problem was the condensation on windows in morning. Very bad in bedrooms. Had to wipe down the windows in the mornings to dry the windows with the two bedrooms we used. It was early October and I'm thinking probably not a problem in summer.

Fabulous

Our stay at DAVINAS - Beach-front Holiday Apartment, was fantastic. We had everything we needed to make our stay a very enjoyable experience. We ahve stayed in alot of diferent holiday accomadation and Davinas was one of the best. The amenities were top notch, coffee machine, extra towels, just all the little things that are often missing when you go to a holiday stay these days, location, cleanliness, I cannot speak highly enough of this Bookabach! Many thanks from our family.

Perfect location

Couldn't have been happier with our stay at Davinas Coopers Beach. Such a beautiful idyllic location. Great fishing off the rocks too! My daughter left her watch behind and the host kindly posted it to us. Could not recommend this place enough :)

A weekend getaway

Pros: unbeatable location, deck with a beautiful view and bbq, a lot of space, well appointed kitchen and bathroom, very friendly and accommodating hosts.Cons: very soft (and/or old) mattress and uncomfortable pillows (strongly suggest upgrading the bedding); one can hear footsteps and people talking/ moving furniture upstairs - not a lot of privacy.Overall, good for a couple of nights, but we would not stay longer.

Modern, clean flat in a great location

A really great place to stay. The flat has everything you need and a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. Just a short walk, can be mostly on the beach, to the Cooper's Beach shops.

Fabulous stay

A stunning immaculate property with fabulous views. Use of kayaks and paddle board and a short walk to a very nice beach. The house is in a great location with restaurants and shops close by. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Amazing location

Members of our company were staying whilst completing a contract at a local business. They worked at night and it was wonderful for them to retreat to such beautiful and comfortable surroundings to rest and recover in the day. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Davinas! The place is spotless and so close to the beach. The electric blankets on all of the beds were appreciated. Check in is easy. The shower hass particularly good pressure. Communication with the host was top notch Thanks so much!

Relaxing beach-front paradise

Davina’s is an awesome 3-bedroom apartment, with all the amenities of home. It is ideal for singles, couples or the whole family. Fabulous sea views and a short, easy walk down to gorgeous Coopers Beach. Thank you for being dog-friendly.

Cable Bay work trip

We travelled up to rebrand the Cable Bay Store Brett made the process very easy and fitted in with us when we had to move a day to suit. The house was awesome to chill out in after a long day at work. Nice and relaxing with awesome views. Cheers Brett.

Watch the sunset from the deck

Everything was wonderful with one exception. There seems to be no sound proofing between the floors and you can hear every footstep of anyone moving around up there. Especially young people running back and forth. We could not find any other fault with the place. Views from the lounge and deck are fantastic. Everything we needed was there. All very clean and tidy and everything in working order. We had a really great break and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Great location

Loved having use of kayaks such a bonus . Proximity to Whangaroa Golf Club was great Super affordable course. Comfortable bed and everything we needed was to hand in Cable Bay. Shout out to Cable Bay butcher shop, great store.

Beautiful Spot.

A wonderful place to stay with Canadian visitors. Stunning views and easily accessible to a beautiful sandy beach. The apartment is spacious and well equipped.

David and Ina (Davinas) built this property as their forever home. A special place to enjoy their retirement fishing, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. They decided to add the unit downstairs to host their children and grandchildren for school holidays, birthdays and Christmas to make incredible memories at the beach as a family.

Over time, they decided to share their little piece of paradise with people from all over the world and opened DAVINAs so that people could create their own memories at Coopers Beach.

Sadly, David and Ina are no longer with us but they wanted people to continue to come to Coopers to relax and have a wonderful holiday. Their son, Brett now looks after the property and will be your point of contact during your stay.

As they say very seldom does one get the perfect spot that ticks all the boxes, offered to you, so when the opportunity came our way we took it and never regretted the decision. .

"DAVINAS" although part of our home has own entrance and no stairs. Stunning view, quiet and private, great neighbours, safe swimming, sub tropical mini climate featuring frangipani, hibiscus, bananas and palms.
