Warm, comfortable home, with everything you need

This is an extremely well furnished comfortable home. The house has everything you need including extra blankets, (not that we needed them as its a lovely warm house), a fully kitted out kitchen, comfy beds and couches, and the table tennis table and kayaks were fun. Nice quiet location. We'd definitely book again.

Quiet, warm, clean and spacious. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and streets for walking, espcailly access to the Lake walkways.

Great location

Lovely spacious house on a level section with room to park a boat. Short walk to lakefront. Nice quiet area. Use of the kayaks was great. Totally recommend!!!

Outstanding Oasis

Thoroughly recommend this beautiful place for a relaxing stay. Everything that you will need and more to make your stay refreshing, relaxing and entertaining. The family enjoyed the freedom to walk to the lake for swims, shoot into town for suppliers if needed only 7 minutes away and go on picturesque walks.

Home away from home

We absolutely loved our stay here. Very clean, warm and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. I packed a few kitchen items that you generally need in a bach, but I didn't need to use anything as it was all provided! We didn't get a chance to take the kayaks out due to the rain - but The kids (and adults) absolutely loved the board games and table tennis. Definitely recommend this home for families. We will be back in the summer :-)

Everything you need

Great location - easy walk to the lake and a nice quiet location with restaurants and activities close by. House is well appointed, modern and clean. Plenty of space - we were a group of 6 adults and 2 children. Large garage with table tennis table and space to store bikes etc. Only negative was having to take all rubbish away at end of stay to avoid additional fees. Feel this could be better managed. We will however not hesitate to stay again!

Fun & a trailer in Taupo

We arrived around 10pm Friday night, the key was left in an easy access key box at the whare and the lights were left on for us, it was so easy and welcoming. We were sent to Taupo to collect a new trailer for our school, as such we had our huge Kura van and there was plenty of parking space for it at the house, we had our 4 big kids and granma with us everyone loved the whare. We picked up the new trailer early Saturday morning and it stored perfectly in the garage while we spent the rest of the day touring, jet skiing and jet boating, not having to worry about the security of the new trailer was so good! The only downer was Unfortunately both Friday and Saturday nights one of the neighbours had loud thumping music on which started around midnight that’s why I rated the neighbourhood 4 stars, it would have been 5 stars otherwise… and we had to take our rubbish all the way back to Masterton, lucky we had a big van and the school has a skip. Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home and exploring Taupo… thank you bookabach *****
