Classic kiwi bach

We enjoyed our stay at Katie’s property. It is a short walk to Cooks Beach and the general store. It’s all about the location! You do need to bring your own linen and towels. Otherwise, most things are provided. The kayaks were good fun! All we would suggest for improvement would be to sand the deck and replace mouldy curtains. Our little girls did get a few gnarly splinters. Overall a great stay and lovely neighbours!

Great bach to stay at. Nice big decks on both sides and easy beach and town access. Tidy and clean. The beds were comfy beds. Thanks heaps.

Fantastic yet again!

We returned to this property because we loved everything about it! A well looked after home with everything we need! Close to the beach, lovely and quiet, a home away from home! Thanks again for a wonderful stay, already planning our trip back!

Great Bach room for our family and 5 and more. Easy walk to beach. Need to remember your loo paper dwl laundry powder sheets etc

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location

Beautiful home and beach very accessible. Description of river and sea views slightly misleading but didn't affect our stay. River is at the back of the property but not viewable or accessible from the property. You do have a distant Sea view but not quite as I imagined it from the description. However a really very short walk to access the beach. The home is extremely comfortable and we had a wonderful stay.

Great location, just a few minutes flat walk to the lovely beach, shop, restaurant and fish and chips also walking distance plus several other cafe/restaurants within easy reach by car. The ferry over to Whitianga was delightful and only 5 minutes by car. The bach was clean and quiet and had everything we needed for a great stay.

This house was perfect for our getaway.

This house was perfect for our getaway. it was a home away from home while offering a gorgeous backyard for our wee one to play. The proximity to the beach was superb, the walkway is literally right across the road. The house was lovely and clean and provided all we required. The view from the back deck is picture perfect and the perfect spot to wind down after a busy day swimming and kayaking. Will definitely be back, was sad to leave!

Great bach, really good location, easy walk to beach and shop. We had a very comfortable stay, everything we needed, very clean and tidy. (Although couldn't find the lifejackets?) Outdoor shower was great. Decks on both sides was awesome, very quiet and peaceful. Thanks.

Great spot for kids being so close to the estuary and a small walk to the main beach and shop if needed. Units are larger than the pics, clean and tidy and include everything you need. Bikes, paddleboards and even an outdoor shower were on offer. We'll be back!
